For Love of The Game

Kevin Costner plays a forty year old major league pitcher, who most people think is getting too old for the game. The team owner asks him if he's going to quit, and then waits for his reply. Costner goes out to the mound to pitch, and throughout the game, he has flashbacks of the time he has spent with his girlfriend, who just broke up with him prior to this game.

He thinks back on his time in the Major League, and the time with his girlfriend, and in the end, makes his decision For The Love Of The Game.

The Ball game he is playing, by the way, was a perfect game.

This was an alright movie, though it kinda lagged at times. The way it gave us insight to the mind of a pitcher though was interesting. I give it two and a half field mice.

And, as always, Ebert can have the Balcony, the Sneak Previews guys can have the Aisle seats. I want the exact middle!
