Well, my new movie review is for The Sixth Sense
If you've seen the previews, you know that the movie is about a little boy named Cole Sean, who sees ghosts. "I see dead people. Some of them don't know they're dead. They see what they want to see. I see them walking around like regular people," is his chilling confession to the child psychiatrist (who is played by Bruce Willis, whose name I cannot for the life of me remember).
So, he sees ghosts, and Bruce helps him to understand that the ghosts want him to help. So he helps the ghosts, and in the process, saves some lives.
While watching this, I thouht it was VERY slow, and very boring. Nothing really weird happens until halfway through the movie when the kid tells him that he sees dead people. then, we get to start seeing the dead people too. There were two parts where i actually started, and one other part where i felt a chill running through me, at what was shown.
Though the movie was rather boring, the ending MORE then made up for it. There were no special effects. No CGI, no animatronics. Just the perfect plot twist.
This wasn't just a plot twist, this was a plot MobiŸs Strip.
When i realized what had happened, I was like.... oh.. my... gosh. I can't... but he.... Awesome!
I give this movie 3 1/2 Field Mice, and I would say if you like a good plot twist, this is the movie for you.
There was very little cursing (Bruce Willis and very little cursing? No way!- Way, my friend.).
There was no sex, so as a Morality Rating, I give it 4 Field Mice.
And, as always, Ebert Can have the Balcony, the Sneak Previews guys can have the Aisle seats. I want the exact middle!
