Lone Wolf was born as Quester Lockleaf in the summer of 978, to parents named Kime and Arula. in fall of 988, at ten years of age, he was sent east to the land of Madrigal, where the Fallen Lords, led by Balor, were threatening the Light. he was conscripted into the army at age 13 and trained to fight by Maeldun, the Commander of the Legion.

Among the battles he participated in are Crows Bridge, The Ambush at Devil's Overlook, The Stand at the Gjol River, The Attack on Balor at Rhi'anon, and Balor's Final Defeat at the Great Devoid.

After Balor's defeat, he was honorably discharged from the Legion at the age of fifteen, and began to travel back. He came through the land Gilead, and there Met Roland, Cuthbert and Jamie. They told him of "The Good Man" John Farson, and how he was really not the benevolent leader all thought he would be.

Together, they led an uprising and drove John Farson from Gilead. Roland gave chase after the Man in Black, and Quester continued on to his homeland. While traveling through the Aiel Waste, he met a Tinker girl named Lora. He fell instantly and madly in love with her.

They were enamored, and probably would have been married, if not for the mask, the brick, and two men.

They had come to Andor, and as they crossed a busy street, a mask caught Lora's eye. she turned and walked over to the shop where it was, admiring it.

HIgh above, two kids, up to no good, were making meticulous calculations. they were going to give her a good scare. They held a brick over the side of the building, and let it drop.

The idea had been to hit just to the left of the girl beneath them, and scare her good. The Wheel, apparently saw differently. A gust of wind blew, and the brick floated to the right. It hit squarely on Lora's head, killing her instantly.

Quester watched her fall with horrified fascination, watchin the blood spray up and strike the walls, the mask, himself. He didn't quite believe it, and almost laughed, but then the horrible reality sunk in.

He dropped to his knees, and lifted her carefully, not caring about blood or bone, and cried her name over and over again. She was gone. Gone from him forever.

That day in the street of Andor, he cast away his birth name, and adoted the name Lone Wolf, swearing to all present that Lora was the only girl he would ever love, and that he would be alone from now on in his life. He would never love again.

Lone Wolf enlisted in the Andoran Army at age 18, and was told to join the Nightscape task force. an elite group of men who answered to no one, and did what they saw as nessecary to ensure the peace and safety of Andor. Several times, the task force was engaged in several skirmishes with Trollocs, though none of the records of the battles ever saw the light of day.

At the age of 21, Lone Wolf got out of the army and came to the White Tower, where he enlisted as a Warder. He used the skills he had learned from Maeldun and Roland, and became a theorist to the Amyrlin Seat.

Half a year before he turned 22, he became bonded to Chissa Sedai, and there he remains, faithfully defending his Sedai, and watching over the White Tower's morale, as the Official White Tower Morale Officer.
