Four soldiers at the end of the Persian Gulf war decide they want some of the Kuwaiti Bullion, and they head out to get it. They get it, and then the truck they are on gets attacked by mad Iraqi's, and flipped. Three of them escape, and one of them is captured by the Iraqi's.
The three mount an attack,a nd rescue their friend by pretending to be Saddam Hussein coming to punish the soldiers at the garrison. The soldiers, afraid for their life flee, but two of them stay behind, hidden in the tall grass.
This was a good movie, with some good performances by George Clooney, and Ice T. They did pretty well with the portrayal of the horrors of war by incliuding graphic representations of what happens when a bullet goes through a body.
I give it Three and 3/4 Field Mice.
And, as always, Ebert can have the Balcony, the Sneak Previews guys can have the Aisle seats. I want the exact middle!
