...was all that was written on the note found in Apgar's kitchen. It was scrawled in an unsteady hand across a page of notebook paper (later discovered by Apgar to have been torn from his own NAEPESH journals). Near the note Apgar discovered a tape, freshly recorded, the tabs were snapped out. The tape was filled with odd experiments; experiments involving sound and technology, kitchen utensils and modern appliances. On the tape's j-card, in the same crude script as the note on the table was an explanation. The AMISH MAFIA, hungry to taste the pleasures of forbidden technology, broke into NAEPESH to document their experiences with "our" modern world. After pausing for a moment, Apgar began to inspect his home. Littered about Apgar found the remains of a number of expensive appliances, and also the sad wreckage of the once mighty NAEPESH.
Determined to make the best of the situation, Apgar released the AMISH recordings on a split tape with AMBIVALENT FLUXUATION, a techno/noise outfit.
NAEPESH never fully recovered.
