William H Riddlesperger - Enlisted 6/21/1862, Last shown on Jan/Feb 1863 roll as "sick", This entry for him was later lined out, 1906 Roster Commission roll states "Died January 1863", Highly probable that he died in the hospital in January 1863 from disease, Possibility that he is buried at Fredericksburg Confederate Cemetery under a tombstone marked "W.R.-Ga.", Born February 1843 in Pickens County to Thomas & Mary Brooks Riddlesperger, New information indicates that he survived the war and returned to Alabama where he married the widow of fellow Co D soldier Jefferson Lovell in 1865, He was then killed by a horse 05/06/1876 and is buried at Union Chapel Cemetery in Walker County, Alabama
