Just an excellent comedy! The most comic episode of the season in my (of course subjective) opinion. I always laugh most of the time and until almost cry while watching this parade of direction, dialogues (as well monologues) and humour, which is supported by those first two (three) and appears in many aspects even like miens and looks, sounds and little moves (mustn’t not to mention a GREAT acting work here) – what a long sentence! &:-)). Joxer as the ApeMan, Xena obsessed with fishing, Gabrielle fallen in love with herself – could you imagine a better connection and use of these opening ideas than in “FFAG”?
I could use, but ... the word “excellent” to almost every part of the movie, beginning from the Aphrodite’s dance which starts this wonderful show. In the whole series, but specially in such kind of story there is seen a big care of every scene and cadre. Can’t miss any second, any word, because the episode includes a looot of “small diamonds” of humour.
Maybe only the ending conclusion is suddenly too much obvious for our wise Xena, but on the other hand, it’s good that even a funny episode has a serious message.
I give 6/6 points. How could I do otherwise? Just couldn’t. Just couldn’t ...
