Hi Guys! I went to my very FIRST Trisha show on Saturday, August 26, 2000 in Essex Junction, VT. To tell you the truth, it was the coolest thing that has ever happened to me cause it's TRISHA! So here's a LONG review and links to pics of Trisha.(The links come first cause those who already read it won't be forced to read it again to find the link to the pics in the review! Oh! I want to tell everyone that I look like an IDIOT! But then again, it's NOT balaced. On a side there's me and then, there's Trisha, do I need to say more? Oh, my scan is a little dark..... But Trisha is still the most beautiful woman ever! And! On those of Trisha on stage, you can see the necklace I gave her! it's a tiny pink point, but still!
This is basically the resume of all my day! So, skip the part you're not interested in!
When I got up in the morning I thought: I'm going to meet Trisha today! That in itself was pretty amazing, you know, it was THE DAY! So I got up, did my stuff, checked if I had my tickets like a million times!) and my daddy went to drop me at my godmother's. She and I left at about 10 am and we took the highway. Suddenly it slowed, Josée was like: This is better be for a GOOD reason! We were at a turtle pace for about twenty minutes just because some belly button girls had a flat and boys were watching out! Then Josée missed the exit to the interstate. So, we had to follow a path of MY choosing(that means if we had gotten lost it would have been my fault!!!!) We finaly found our way on the road and managed to get to Burlington in one piece(it's weird how you exactly know you're not going to see some french anymore!) Oki, to my godmother's wish we went to a store in Burlington and then made our way to Essex, but we stopped to eat. Then, we made our way to the fair. I went immediatly to a ticket master to learn if they had any idea where I should pick my passes!(oki, I,m the idiot one, I forgot to print out the em I received from the fan club...) The guy had no SINGLE clue! So we thought: We have time we'll go through the fair and then we'll see! We went through some craft stuff and such. Then I got nervous about my passes again and asked at an information desk and they told us to go to another ticket master. I went, they didn't knew. Which I found VERY encouraging! When we managed to find some shadow for my godmother(she was pregnant and she had a headache!) I saw woman who was working at the fair and she directed me AGAIN to the ticket master we went to first thing. The same guy had no single clue, again! So we went to the door of the amphitheater (if I can say) and asked a guy who was there. He, then, directed us to another guy (M. Cain, I think) who was sitting inside. We got into the amphitheater and the band was warming up!! I started to point out to my godmother who was who and she was like: Oh GOD you're such a trooper!. So, the sitting guy directed us to a person who was backstage! We were like 30 meters away from Trisha's BUS! I was simply WOW! Finally, this person (he was the fair manager) not only knew what we were talking about but he had the passes as well! He asked us to follow him, but suddenly he was called at whatever place. He asked us to wait there. We were at the merchandise table and Lisa was taking out the t-shirts and stuff so I told Josee who I thought it was so she went to ask and it was Lisa. She asked me how I knew and I say: Oh, through totallytrisha, you know Ken mention you often. She just said: OH!!! ok. As if it's normal for me to know who she was. So we chatted a little with her and then we followed the guy to the ticket master, I asked for my passes and that idiot to who I talked like three times asked for a ID! I was cursing under my breath you bet (I've been doing that quite a lot looking for the passes!!!!)
We went around a little (it was 4:30 and I had to be at the merchandise Table at 5:30, so....) then we went back at the entrance. The people there had no idea what to do, so they told us to wait there. By then there was already Melissa and Christie waiting.( I knew it was them through TotallyTrisha, But I was too shy to ask! But Mike's Friend Sally went to ask them and it was Them! I even shook Melissa's hand while waiting!) Then more people started to arrive and Mike did. I asked: You're Mike? He said yes and ask me if I was Annie, so I said yes and we hugged and we started to talk and people who go on TT but aren't really posting(Russ and Denise) understood who we were, so we started to chat and then Donnie came to get us! We went at the merchandise table. Lisa was there for a little bit but she was selling stuff. People from the fair were. So I ask the girl how large was the Large and she showed me one and I said: I'm going to take a large of all of those and this cap and a key chain (which I've lost BTW). Her eyes went wide! She was told me: there's only the pic you're not buying! I answered: well Trisha has some ;o) We waited there for a little bit all wondering what we were going to say to her and stuff when Donnie came back and asked us to follow! That was Like OH GOD! it's the moment! So we followed and we went under this tent. Melissa and Christie went first cause They know them already! We all just saw a flash of pink through the window and we were oh GOD Trisha's Really there! Donnie asked us to make two lines one for the Fan club, other one for the radio people So then he came in the fan club line and asked: Who's Annie?? I kinda reasied my hand and said: Me! :e told me: Ok you're going next! I told my this feels worse than an speach in front of a class or something!! I was so nervous! It was beyond that actually!
And then I got to get in. I said Hi! to Jarrah(Trisha's personnal assistant for those who doesn't know it. Who doesn't?!?! Be ashame if you don't!!!) first of course cause she's the first one I saw! Then I turned around and there was TRISHA! This was a little surreal because to me she existed only though TV, picture Records and other people. She shook my hand and said: Hi Annie, Nice to meet ya! I don't exactly remember what I said! But then she said: Oh I love your shirt. I said: thanks, my parents brought me that. I told her: I have some stuff for you. So I gave her the bag and I said that the roll that has the meaning of her name I bought it because I hade been in the store for like 25 minutes looking at what's in the box (she was opening it and I tape them up, I have to say!) So before she took the lid off she said: What?? you bought it for the salesgirl? I answered: something like that and for her not to call the police! Trisha smiled and she took of the lid and she simply said: Wow, this is great! this is exactly my style! (thanks to Brittnie, Charles, Patrisha, Veronica and Cat!) So Jarrah came up and said: Show me! And Trisha showed it to her and like put it on her neck just to see and Jarrah commented: Oh this is going to be great with the pink outfit(?????) Trisha was Like: Yes thanks! And I said that the pendant had no meaning(cause it's medieval and Charles made me think of that!) She was like: not meaning at all? I answered: No, not witchcraft or something, it's pretty neutral! So she thanked me and I gave her the card I had written something inside and I said: according to my godmother I'm better at picking cards than gift. Trisha said that it was pretty hard to top. She scan the letter quickly, but made no metion of it. So then it was time for the enveloppe from Sharon and Melanie. She told me she would answer them and asked me if I had someone I wanted her to sign a picture for so I said: Yes, could you sign one for my friend Brittnie, she wanted to meet you in july, but couldn't and I know she's litterally going to freak out when I'll send her this along with two tapes of 6 hours of your early apperances! So she signed it after asking me how you spelled it. So I did and I mentionned that she was Lyra84 on ty.com and she said: o, OH! That's her!!! are you on? I answered: yes of course! And she asked: Which one are you? I said: Angel. She was: You're angel? Cool! and then she said that she didn't like to go on the net too much because of gossip and such and I said: it's pretty sweet on Ty.com you should see on TotallyTrisha, it's a little more rough. She was like: yeah Gossip... I quickly rectified: NO! we just all have very strong opinions! Ask Mike, he's the trouble maker(we've been joking around about that!) She said: oh, I'm going to meet him? (BTW, Mike met her AFTER the show and she Remebered that i mentionned him and said so!) I said: Yeah, he's the guy with the Linda Ronstadt shirt. She asked: have I met him before? I said: Yes, back stage at a LR show. Trisha asked: I never met you did I? and I said: no, it's the first time. And she said: but this ain't your first show, is it? I said: Yes actually! it's pretty big night for me! She was so surprised when I said that! Then she asked if I had anything I'd like to have signed, so I was looking around my bag for the bio(it was a mess!) and I said: there's too much stuff in that bag I got everything at the table. Gift from my parents to encourage me to go to school this year (it was meant as On a positif level!but!) and she said: oh, good for you, where are you going to school??? I said: In Montreal(well, I pronounced it the french way so it was like Monréal, but american people need the hear the T cause otherwise, they don't know what I'm talking about!) L'espat. L'École Secondaire de la Pointe-Aux-Trembles. Trisha eyes went wide as saucers! I don't think she realised I was french! She said: Oh! That,s easy for you to say! Where's that? I said: In Quebec. she was like: oh! Ok! then I don't know why, she said: I'm tired of my southern accent. I simply said: No it's cool! She signed my bio writing: To Annie, so nice to meet you, TY! and the my songbook cd book cause I said: This is the first cd I bought from you, so it's special! Then she started reading the name thing and and Jarrah came to read over her shoulder and Trisha said: She's angel on the page. (don't ask me where that came from!!!) and Jarrah was OH! and Trisha said: You're was so nice on the page. I asked: really?(Cause on TT, some poeple could argue about that!) and Trisha was: Absolutly! And she said: The name thing is totally me. Jarrah agreed so I said: well, it's always helpful! So then Jarah asked if I had a camera with me, so she took a pic of me and Trisha. Like Trisha with her arm around my waist, mine around hers, but pretty up right, then Jarrah was about to give me back my camera and Trisha said: Oh Take just another, Just in case! So I didn't think about it and I put my head on Trisha's shoulder and then I realised what I was doing so I got upright again! And Trisha rested her head on mine, so I went back with my head on her shoulder! I started to put back my stuff in my bag and she told me: Don't worry, the next time we'll meet, it' going to be easier! and I told her: my Friend Patrisha has been e-mailing me to tell me just that since march! So then Donnie came in as the Cue, it's time to go. Trisha Shook my hand saying: It was nice to meet you. Plus, she gave me a hug! A real TRISHA HUG! and she's no cheap hugger! she squeezed a little and She smells so Good! ( I have to say that Trisha is taller than me (big surprise!!!) and I was level with her neck!) I just thought: OH COOL! So I smiled and she wished me to have fun and I said: I WILL, don't worry! So I said bye to her and Jarrah and when I came out, I had just my foot on the step, everybody came like whroo all on me and asked: how was she??? and I simply andswered: She's Amazing!!!!! But the door was still opend, I don't know if she heard! I hope she didn't cause this would be embarassing! Oh, btw I'm thinkin' she was wearing capri beige pants with a hot pink shirt that had like strikes of a softer pink and black sandals, her air lose and she was so beautiful! Forget the TV, pictures, and stuff, the real Trisha is so much more beautiful and so amazing! I chatted with the others a little and I told Mike I talked about him a little and his friend told me: You're shaking like a leaf! and I was!!! I had trouble to stand up cause I was weak in the knees! I have to say I had my hip against the back of a chair to support me cause I'm not sure I would have made it without! but it was worth it! I went to find my Godmother and we talked with Russ when he came out and then got to take our seats.
We learned that Trisha was first before Alabama and I needed to go to the bathroom. I went but there's always a line up, so I was looking and I saw the band starting to come up and the annoucement being made. I never forgot that fast that I had to pee! So I runned to my seat, almost killed myself and then Trisha comes out Singing WAYN. So I sat down and started to take pictures when I saw what was around her neck! It was the necklace I gave her! I was a little far from the stage but it sure looked like it and Josee and I were convinced. I can't describe to you the feeling I had when i saw that I was just floored at how wonderful she was cause she didn't needed to do that, unless she really wanted to wear it of course, but when I saw that, It's was.... I can't say, it's way too hard to describe. I got out of the row to take better pics and I went up in front of the stage and it was it! I was already sure it was, but to see it very closely, that was really cool! I had to share it and I told the woman who was taking pictures beside me: This is a necklace i gave her! She was like: Oh, Really? ain't that great? I was wowed by that, So I went back to my seat and I saw Jarrah sitting there behing a guy, and I almost told her to say to Trisha thanks for wearing the necklace and How glad I was the she liked it, but I was WAY too shy to bother her!!! My godmother went to take up close pics of Trisha,(which didn't turned out...) The show ended up pretty early and Trisha got a standing but after that everybody sat down and I was like: Darn, she won't come out! cause there was not much of applause, so we didn't get any encores, but the show was great! Since we weren't interested in Alabama, we left and came back home! the set list included, but not in order cause I remember that only partially!)

There are some missing, but I'll have to check the other reviews! She made jokes on Powerful thing that when she first started she sometimes had to play guitar but after that first tour the band wouldn't allow her to do so anymore. So when they need an extra guitar player they ask their Guitar tech. But she said she was totally cool and ok with it and she presented him she was like: don't worry, there's about a thousand people here, who are all staring at you, that's a lot of presure but don't think about it! so that was pretty fun and before perfect love she said that out of basically 90 song(cause she has 9 albums) she had only about three songs that were possitive and fun and she considered that enough and she started Perfect love. When she sang HDIL she said that it was in the movie Con Air and with Nick Cage but she said she hadn't meet him, so she said she put a clause in her contract saying that she wanted to meet the star of the movie! so she said that the next movie she did was Stuart Little! She said he was nice and much taller in person! oki, that's about all I remember so I hope you liked the review and that's about it!
