Dear Ewan: While I realize that you may never actually read this letter yourself, it's true that it feels good just to write it! I first saw your work in A Life Less Ordinary and Trainspotting. However, it wasn't until Moulin Rouge that I became totally hooked. Of course, your dark & handsome "leading man" looks certainly got my attention (I love the black hair on you), but it was when you opened your mouth to sing that I literally got chills and felt my heart leap up into my throat. There's something about your voice, its timbre, your accent, your smile, and the way you pull it all together with such feeling and emotion that make you an incredible singer, in addition to being a great actor. You even made the sometimes corny love medleys come together in a way that wasn't funny at all, but truly inspirational and touching. And it may sound cliche, but the fact is that your performance in Moulin Rouge has inspired me to revisit my own passion for singing and performing - a favorite pastime of mine that was set aside when I had my first child a couple of years ago. Seeing you, and in the context of such a great "theater" movie, put the spark for performing back into my mind & heart, and for that I just wanted to thank you. Please keep singing - every chance you get! Love, Kelley
