Testimony:
I went from robbing and shooting people to ministering and trying to make a positive difference in people’s lives. I had a girlfriend for a year and a half and she went to the same church as me. My feelings for her completely blinded me from the entire reason that God had brought me to Riverside UMC. Immediately after breaking up with her God began to do incredible things in my life. He started with me getting arrested. That pretty much showed me that I was walking the wrong path. After being grabbed by the collar and having the truth slapped in my face (which is literally what it took), I finally began to see what it was all about. This came after being with Grand Café for almost an entire year. Needless to say our ministry was almost nonexistent. God has blessed this band in so many ways that there’s not enough room to tell them all. Now that he is the only thing in our collective spotlight, and we have fully dedicated ourselves to bringing people to Him, the blessings are uncountable, almost inconceivable. I love Him more than anything in my life and owe Him everything I am.
