Our Blue Cypress Lake Trip,cont

The Previous pages dealt with the scenic beauty of Blue Cypress Lake.The rest of this site is about our fishing trip.We unfortunately arrived after a cold front had rolled through the state,and it was cold and windy. We didn't catch a lot of fish but we had a great time. We did catch enough to have a big fish fry on thursday night. Blue Cypress is primarily known for it's big largemouth bass.But on this trip we were fishing for speckled perch (crappie). This lake has the biggest specks i have ever seen.In fact on this trip,I caught the largest I have ever caught and Richard beat mine.
