6. Condenser

Scott: This one went through a million changes for me. The title comes from not being comfortable with somebody’s breath condensing on your skin. I tried to make the song feel that way.

James: This was Sean’s baby originally. He came up with the main riff, and it was so simple and great. Then he gave me the ball and I ran with it and changed the feel a bit. Then we got into pre-production and we really picked apart the drums and put them back together in a really messed up way. It seemed to sound like a bunch of noise when we were playing it, but hearing it back, it made total sense.
