11. Swallowtail

Scott: This is to everybody who knew me in high school who says I’m just not the same. I’m not as fun loving, or whatever. Well, am I supposed to be the same guy? It’s fucking high school. That guy is gone. He’s not here anymore.

James: I think this chorus is one of my favorite things I’ve written. It really captures the magic that is between my music and Scott’s voice and lyrics. It seems so strange. It’s tucked away as the last song on the album, and it’s a fairly subtle song. But both vocally and musically, it’s really magical.
