10. Temporary Arms

Scott: It’s about either being embraced or pushed away and it was so hard for me to get it out. The emotions ran really high in the studio, and I think you can hear how bummed out I am in the song. It’s one of my favorite songs to listen to. It sounds like I’m trying to go through some sort of therapy in that song.

James: This is probably the most complicated song on the album as far as having a lot of different parts. I think the most fun song to play. It was just really spontaneous. This was the place where all those little pieces of music I had been working on just ended up.
