7. Thin Spirits

Scott: I like this one 'cause it's so short. There are two or three verses, and that's it. It used to be called finger eleven. It's about being in a phase where you're really bored with yourself. I went through a period where I felt like I wasn’t getting anywhere and it was about what I could do in my head to change that.

James: I wrote it when I just started going out with my girlfriend and it was about how hard it was to get to know me. This song more than any of them has a bit of a mood or message in the music.
