Notes:

The source material for all the works in this series is the central section from the Taizokai Mandala of the Ryokai Mandala now in the Toji temple in Tokyo. This mandala is the earliest (ca. 10th century) extant color mandala in the world, and is also the most important cultural relic of the Japanese Shingon (esoteric) Buddhist sect.

This series is best viewed while listening to some type of non-Western transcendental music, such as the "Fissures" album by Robert Rich.
