How to display your MIB PEZ
How do display your MIB PEZ
Please take the time for this page to load
- A box 1 foot long. 8 in. wide, and 3 in. deep.
- Scissors
- Box cutters
- Measuring tape/stick
- A pen or pencil
- Some old cardboard boxes that pez came in
- Some silver spray paint(It only costs about $1 at K-mart or Wal-mart)
STEP 1
Get some old news paper and spread it accross the floor. Put your box in the middle. Make sure thay your not wearing anything that can be thrown away.
STEP 2
Shake up you spray paint and cover EVERY side of the box (no need to paint the inside, thought, because nobody's going to see it). You might want to let it dry then come back and paint it again.
STEP 3
Get out your ruler and make a mark one inch from the longer edge. Make sure that the lines is straight. I would put a mark on each side and then draw a line between the two. After you do this, draw another line parrallel to the first one. Make the second line exactly one inch away from the first one.
STEP 4
Get your box cutters(you can also use scissors but it will not be as nice as with box cutters). Cut directly on the two lines you just made. Make sure you do not stray from the line, which has happened to me before. Cut it out so all you have is a rectangle hole. IMPORTANT: The reason that you make the hole only 1 inch from the side and not farther towards the middle is that you will place loose and carded pez there. I will show you how on a later step.
STEP 5
There is a problem, however. I placed a TMNT MIB into the hole, but you can only see it's head!! I want to show off all my stem colors too, so you must add a floor beneath the pez. See step 6 for instructions.
STEP 6
This is where it starts to get a little complicated. What I have dont here, is cut off a piece of cardboard the same length of the box, and AROUND 6 inches long. I then bent it in half, and taped it in the corner of the bottom of the box, just under the hole you just made. That gives the MIB Pez something to stand on so you can see their stem colors. I had to put a good bit of tape on it to make it stay in place, but just be sure to no tape can be seen on the outside when it is flipped back over. Here is birds eye view of what your MIB Pez are going to be stand on: 
STEP 7
Now its time to learn how to display those loose and carded Pez. If you display them loose, the bags from the MIB Pez are blocking them from view. Therefore, you must make a little platform to go behind the MIB. As you can see in the picture, the simpsons are standing on the platform. It is placed behind the MIB. To make it, cut out a piece of cardboard as long as the box and about 4 inches wide. Then cut out 2 pieces as long as the box, and about 1 inch wide. These 2 pieces will be taped to the 4 inch wide piece to make it stand above the ground. Put the loose pez on these and lean the carded pez on these against the wall. Here's the other side of the platform:
