My soul's an open book,
Everybody's free to read:
That takes a lot of courage
To be yourself indeed.
I don't know if it's right…
For the truth is lately taboo
But still I wouldn't be myself
To hide my soul like many do.
Sometimes I'm thinking of this:
Who cares for a book he's read?
It's just a risk I had to take
To run free into my river bed.
Whether I'm right or wrong,
I can't be whatever I'm not,
In the end an open book
It's a print on people's thought.
Thinking more and more of it,
I'm the author of my book,
Writing chapters every day
Come closer, take a look!
