I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I won't jump to conclusions, or insult you, or make fun of your computer. No, it's cool. My dad has a Mac, so I'm cool with that type of thing, really -- it doesn't make me uncomfortable. All the same, you're going to have troubles viewing some characters on my webpages.

Now, the little letters in the "letter" category -should- look like the gifs. If they don't, then there's a problem (there may be a few other characters which pose problems, but these are the ones that have been widely reported to me.). I'd suggest you go searching around the web for Unicode fonts. My friend Drake makes excellent fonts, and a lot of them have very complete character inventories, so you may want to check out his Roman Unicode and his Chrysanthi Unicode pages.
