Notes for Philip, Themy and Philip Johnson

1) In 1830 Hall Co., Georgia, Philip Johnson and family are living next door to Barton and his family. This leads us to believe there is some type of relationship between the two families.

Philip Johnson
1 male 15 to under 20; 1 male 20 to under 30; 1 male 50 to under 60; 1 female 20 to under 30; 1 female 60 to under 70.
(Based on the ages of the older individuals in this household, we believe they are possibly the parents of Isabella.)

2) 1834 Lumpkin Co., GA census - Heads of Household

Next door to Barton is a "Themy Janson" with 8 people in the home. Because the family is once again next door, We believe this is Philip's widow with the name Johnson misspelled.

3) Philip Johnson was sentenced to Natural Life for murder in Hall Co., GA on October 16, 1835. Records state he was a farmer, born in South Carolina, 28 years of age, 5'7" in height with dark hair, light complexion and grey eyes. He served out his sentence and was discharged.
(Taken from the Central Register of Convicts (1817-1868) and the Penitentiary Book (1817-1871).)
