This is the cemetery in Tate, Georgia where Barton (spelled Bartin on his tombstone) is buried. It is the original cemetery in Tate near Cool Springs Baptist Church where Barton and Isabella were two of the original 18 founders.

In this cemetery are also buried Harriett Loveless' first husband Benjamin Roper, their daughter Violet H. Roper, and two sons of William Harrison and Mary Caroline Loveless Mann's -- Tatem W. and P. J.

There are many broken and unmarked graves where it's possible that others of our family are buried.
