Since 2003, the Wild and Scenic Film Festival has grown to receive local, regional, and national applause for celebrating the spirit of environmental activism and has become the largest traveling festival of its kind in North America.

Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, Georgia River Network and Georgia ForestWatch have partnered to bring together the best of these award-winning environmental films in a total four-hour program. Sunday marked the October 29, 2006 last day of the Lefont Garden Hills Cinema.

Lefont Theaters Atlanta's independent art-house chain that includes Lefont Garden Hills (mostly foreign-language), and Lefont Plaza (a mix of first- and second-run art-house, small independents and foreign-language films).

Midtown Art Cinema Independent, foreign language and retrospectives in midtown.

African Dinner and a Movie will be held at the Landmark Midtown Art Cinema on Thursday, November 9th. African Dinner and a Movie is a Corporate, Educational and Religious tool in learning about African food, culture and scenery, as well as to remove misperceptions and/or stereotypes with the discussions that follow each screening. Reception: 5:00pm, Screening: 7:30 followed by a discussion. The cost is $20.
