These are letters I have received from fellow Southern Americans :
I had one of my guests email me recently to ask me to remove his name from my guestbook, he had made wonderful comments about my site and the Confederate Battle flag. When I asked him why this is what he wrote back to me : A Bizarre Person who saw my comment has made some bizarre comments through
email that makes me feel like I should be more careful.
You still have a great website!!!
We will leave it anonymous for his well-being. This example along with some of the "brilliant minds", and I use that term loosely, that have signed my guestbook with their "thoughts" just goes to show that we have along way to go, but we can reach the goal that we all hope and pray for. A Southern America, as one race, with no matter to skin color black, white, yellow and all others, but as the Southern race!
Thank you, was the first thing that came to my mind. You said something in
your opinion page that I have been saying for many years. Come to my house
and take down my flag.
I am an American born in this United states, that sounds so odd to say
United...because we haven't been, I must tell you I was born in the West,
California, but I have always and will always have a strong felling and
attachment for the South ie..SC, I am a civil war buff I love history, but my
heart and soul lie with the rebel flag.
When I heard that they wanted to take
down the flag that stands for so many who died, some of which were my
relitives,i went to SC from the state I now live in Arizona, where yes there
are a lot of us rebels around, to voice my opinion, knowing that I was only
one person, but like so many other, one person, I felt it was my duty to show
my honor in a flag that meant so much to so many.
I wore black and flew my
flag on July 1st as they took down the flag, as did many of my friends. I
like your self will fly my flag in my yard here in AZ or where ever I may
move to, because I may not have been born in the South but in my heart and
soul I am a southerner and will fly the rebel flag always.

This will help you fight off yankees and the NAACP and to who ever else that
doesn't know there history. Black people blame use for slavery when it was
ther own people that caught them and sold them to use, and our ancestrors
were flying under the American flag, black people slaved under the American
flag for almost 200 years, to the Confederate flags 4 years and they had it
made when slaved under the rebel flag, so the American flag should be takin'
down and THE STARS AND BARS RAISED.
Oh and by the way if the rebel flag is a
racist symbol then why isn't flown in other country's that had slavery???
P.S. TELL EVERY YANKEE YOU SEE TO GRAB HIS MUSKET, WE WILL RISE AGAIN THIS
TIME IN VICTORY.
GOD BLESS OUR HERITAGE AND OUR FLAG.

The rebel flag is the best flag theres ever been my great great grandpa
fought for the south in the war and I fly a rebel flag in my yard and black
peple want to take it down of the southern capitals because to them its a
symbol of slavery and hate, but IT AIN''T the rebel flag was only flown in
battle. And the hate part isn't true the reason why the KIan flys the is
because the Klan originated in the South the rebel flag is not a Klan symbol.
P.S. let these facts tell them yankees off, and whoever else that doesn't
like the flag.

I Think we Southerners should consider a Million Man Confederate Decendant march to
support the flying of the Confederate Flag. I feel Mississippians have lost their backbones and won't stand up and support our heritage.

Just wandering what you think when someone writes something bad about this
site I really liked it and it burns me up to read comments that are bad about
certain things such as this that is so near and dear to me and my family keep
up the good work

Hey. I would just like to tell you how thankful I am to see somebody that
thinks like I do?
I have a State of Georgia license plate on the front of my
truck. I am so proud to show it off to everybody that rides by.
I signed
the Petition. I hope it works. My favorite spot is on 1-75 near McDonough.
They have the biggest Georgia Flag I have ever seen. I hope it continues to
stay there for a long time to come. I would like tohear from you if you have
a chance.
My favorite quote is Rebel Pride Never Dies.
Thanks ,

Dixiemom,
Thank you for writing me back. I'm so happy to hear that the response wasn't standard. I hate when I fill something out, or voice my opinion, only to realize it is only worth an automated and insincere thank you. I'm glad to see that the Southern Cross means what it originally did (heritage not hate), to so many people.
The one thing I cannot stand is people having a bad opinion of me, because I wear wranglers and shirts with "Dixie" and the Flag on them. The only thing that crosses their mind is "another racist redneck". This message urgently needs to be erased, and I thankyou for hosting a site with that goal in mind!
Southern Pride Forever,

The truth is not in the naacp, they will never fess up to what their
people really are. this unending hatred of the south has been around
since the war ended.I enjoyed your page.
I have one also at
Civil War 2000, it's about 2/3 rds finished . I am
preparing a section about slaves and africa that is real interesting,
hang tough this war ain't over yet.

Isn't it ironic that although the Stars and Stripes flew over the institution of slavery for over 100 years, and the Stars and Bars and the Confederate Battle Flag only flew over that same institution for five years there is no protest of the former?

We are from TN. We feel the same as you do. The FLAG should remain flying. We had 2 Rebel shirts made. My son just has a Rebel Flag on it. But my husband has the Rebel Flag on front and this on the back "THIS IS NOT SOUTH CAROLINA, AND IT WILL TAKE A REBEL ASS KICKING TO TAKE THIS ONE DOWN". The flag should remain, and he wears his shirt with pride. We also wear REBEL hat/caps.
