I have been hearing alot about EarthBound64 lately. I have been told it would not come to U.S. shores at all. But I do not want to believe it. The original 4 characters are supposed to be in the sequel as well as a NEW band. (Not the runaway 5) And they have some wacky name i cannot remember. As long as we are talking about the Runaway 5, has anyone ever noticed that there were SIX members of the band on stage????? Not 5 but 6!!!!!!!!!! That strikes me as funny.

He tells me this is a true story, so e-mail me with comments/complaints and new stories!!! Thanks!!! RedArwing "The Apple Kids"- By Matingly22 One day, while I was sitting down, and happily eating my lunch, I heard some craziness from the other side of the lunch room. Who was it, you ask? Only the baddest people in school, Frank Fly, the Yes Man, Apple Kid, Pogo Punk, Pokey, Everdred, and the Bubble Monkey! They were causing chaos as usual. Bubble Monkey was stealing kids lunches, and throwing them at people. Apple Kid was just plain ol' stealing the food and eating it. Frank and the Yes Man were chasing each other around the cafeteria, knocking over everything they ran by. Pogo Punk and Pokey were teaming up on innocent kids, Pogo Punk beating them down, Pokey doing the final blow- Butt Drop!!! When the lunch ladies brought out a bunch of left over apples, the 7 kids, plus some other of their friends took them all. They all had a brilliant idea(at least to them, who knows what goes on in their heads!!)- First, Frank and Everdred grabbed Apple Kid, their OWN friend!, and help him down next to the table, and the Yes Man took a leap, and smashed 1 half of the apple over Apple Kid's head! Then, he tried some other manuevers. He jumped off another table, with the apple, and smashed it again over the Apple Kid! In a matter of minutes, everyone had grabbed someone, and were taking turns smashing apples over their heads! I could see everyone practicing their own moves, Pogo Punk doing a 360degree spin, onto Pokeys head and the apple smashed all over, the Yes Man running from 30 feet back, jumping like 8 feet right onto Bubble Monkeys head, and all the other crazy people were doing the same. 10 minutes later, they were all back to normal, with apple chunks all over their head and hair. It was almost like they forgot that even happened! Well, theres Earthbound people for ya!!!!!! I hope ya enjoyed that as much as I did watching it really happen last year!!! - Matingly22 "TWOSON ADVENTURE" by RedArwing One morning in Twoson, a strange man walked down the sreets. He was dressed funny. He wore a black baseball cap and a flannel short-sleeved plaid shirt, over a tan t-shirt. He left the over shirt un-buttoned so it flapped in the early morning breeze... He was walking mighty early and no-one else was in sight. It must have been 6 o'clock and the sun was just peeking over the skyline. The Crime-boss, Everdred had just woke up and he looked out the window, just in time to see the man stroll past the park. "What the...." he said in surprise. He threw on his shirt and started out the door to follow the man. The man looked very fimiliar to Everdred, and he could have sworn that he had seen that face before. He kept following the man as he headed north toward the Chaos Theatre. Everdred followed him untill he reached the theatre. The man paused.... and then went inside. Everdred ran just in time to catch the door before it latched shut. Inside, the theatre was dark and smelled of spilled soda. It took a moment for Everdred to let his eyes adjust to the darkness. Then he made his way to the managers office, where he had seen the man enter. He creeped up onto the door and then put his ear to the wood. He heard as follows: "Ah, you are here!" a deep voice said. "Yes." said the man. "Well..." said the manager. (The deep voice) "I came to talk about a young man named 'Ness' " "Aha! Ness! Yes I recall a boy named ness... he payed the Runaway 5's debt." "MmmHmm." said the man. "My name is Mr. Drienien." said the man. "And what do you want with me?" the manager said. "I am a business man from Fourside, And we have heard of this boy, this boy has been suspected of discovering an alternate deminsion of Fourside, called Moonside." "Moonside......" the theatre manager looked skeptical. "Yes, Moonside." said Drienien. " And we have come to a conclusion, that Twoson has an alternative side as well." At this point, Everdred almost fell of his pose. He caught himself and retuned to listen. "This 2nd deminsion of Twoson, is called Freeson." he looked hard into the managers eyes. "Freeson......" the manager now had a glassy look in his eyes. "And why would I be interested in this?" he said. "The key to opening the city......" Drienien paused. "Is here."

"Here??????" the manager yelled. "Here in the theatre????" he collapsed in his chair. "Yes." the man said "Behind the ticket counter." Everdred raced to the door of the theatre and then said "What the crap!" He ran to the counter and looked behind it... searching..... for anything..... Yes!!! He found something and now..... to see if it works..... "Hey!!!" the manager yelled. "What the crap do you think your doing??!!!?" Everdred panicked and then......... a huge bright light flashed before him.... and he lost conciousness............

A "GREAT" Time in Summers!!! - BY MIRELLI68
Ness and Paula were going to the restaurant is Summers, and Ness was going to pay. When they teleported there, they noticed a new sign, it read " I want Ness and Paula to meet me at the Hotel du Summers at 3:00 sharp, spankety spankety spankety." It was obviously written by Pokey. They had their supper, then teleported to Saturn Valley and got Jeff to come with them. He stocked up on Multi-Botle Rockets and then they went to Dalaam. Poo joined them and they went to the Hotel. Another sign read, "Right on time, Pigg's Butt!" As they headed up, several gift boxes attacked them, and they reached the last floor. "Ok, why don't you take a seat, on the floor!" suddenly, they were all seated and Pokey stepped out of his hevy armor. "I wanted you to come here alone, but this is better, 4 birds with one stone!"

If anyone who likes stuff like this (girls notably) wanted to do this column, I'd let them with open hands!! So, heres some of the rumors!! - I've been hearing from quite a few people, about a secret ending in Earthbound. What could this mean? What could it possibly be, if there was even one? Please, stay tuned for this developing turn of events...
-Could it be that Earthbound64 isn't coming out in America anymore, like EGM suggested?? Well, need not worry.e-mailed Nintendo, and they promised EB64 for us, with many reasons why it would come out here, and not be cancelled. -Shigesato Itoi is considering to take out the Mamba Jambo Crunch whatever, and put the Runaway 5 back in, since they were so popular. But, they're also considering something else... stay tuned........ -Well, its official that the New Age Retro Hippie is in Earthbound 64!!! I don't know if hes an enemy, or a friend, or some big boss though. Also, in the picture I saw I believe I saw an Armored Frog, another enemy from Earthbound, and a whole bunch of new characters. - EarthBound 64 will feature Kraken, and this time he has THREE heads!!! He will be much harder than the first Kraken, since you will have to kill all three heads, and each will have a different weakness.
