News and Updates
Two Months and no real newsletter. I hope you all enjoyed the last Halloween update, but I also hope nobody thought the club had gone the way of the dinosaur. No, we're still here, fueled on by a recent brainstorm, to which Cueball4ever I must give credit to. His idea was to document and record all the information and events from the heyday of online EarthBound culture. A truly ambitious idea, to categorize lost newsletters, assemble a timeline that guides you through those magical years in which several EB Clubs boasted hundreds of members. I am aware that my club, Moonside never has and never will acheive the greatness of those clubs like the EB Gang, the Sharks, and the Mr. Saturn Nation.
In response to this idea, I have decided to open The History, a website that will attempt to acheive all that has been mentioned. I feel that I need to do this now, while my ambition is at it's height. Ask any club-leader and they will tell you that it's hard to conistently keep up with your interest in the game and maintain a club. I want to do this so I can leave one great last work to be remembered by, this club has been less than stellar, and lack of interest has provoked a slow member recruitment. I hope all you members who were former club leaders and the members too will forward any old newsletters or website addresses that will indeed help me in my quest. All that you can find I need, please feel free to send anything. I intend to contact former leaders, so if you are one, expect to hear from me. I hope you will all support me in my venture.
