An Answered Prayer Of Love
I never realised there was a "you" waiting for me,
Then we talked, Wow I was entranced,
I thought before that my life was just meant to "be",
You, the person you are, captivated a real second glance.
I always seemed to just "settle" before,
Knowing I deserved a love that was true.
Also wondering if life offered more?
Still not knowing that someone was you,
I look back at that 8th wonder,
That took place in that first phone call,
It cupped my heart and placed it under,
A blanket of refreshing call.
I look to the heavens and I say,
Thank you God for sending us this love,
We will keep it precious that's how it shall stay,
I promise to cherish and keep it above,
All other things and issues because,
This is what we have asked you for
"A True Love."
