“I can’t believe we are graduating from high school tomorrow!” I said to my friend Ashley.
“Neither can I!” she responded.
We were at my house and it was the night before graduation. “So many things have happened since we started high school. I remember when we just little freshman!” Ashley said.
“Yeah I remember that too! How about that time we were on the telephone talking about how we were gonna marry the Backstreet Boys! I can’t believe we were so obsessed with that group! I wonder what they are doing now that their music group broke up!” I replied.
“I don’t know, but when we leave for college in Florida maybe we will run into them!”
“Yeah right!” I laughed.
“Well I bet your boy Nick is still pretty hot! And I know my baby Brian has GOT to still look good!” said Ashley with a giggle.
“I can’t believe you are still thinking about them! Although I must admit I wouldn’t mind running into them and finding out if you are right!”
“Tell me about it!” Ashley said.
“Well enough daydreaming! We need to get some sleep for our big day tomorrow!”
“Your right! I’m so excited though I dunno if I can sleep!”
After about an hour of senseless girl talk we finally managed to fall into a light sleep.
The last day of school had been on Tuesday and we were graduating on Thursday. This was the day my friends and I had been waiting for our whole lives! That day was finally here! After graduation Ashley and I were going to Hawaii for our senior trip. Then in the fall we were planning on attending Florida State University together.
