DIVINE


Divine, the mega-star of the early John Waters movies was born Harris Glenn Milstead in 1946. Once Glenn made his appearance in John Waters' second film, Roman Candles, John gave Glenn the name DIVINE!
Divine went on to be in 9 of John's films, as well as other films like Lust in the dust, Trouble in Mind, and I wanna be a beauty queen. Divine also had a recording career in the 1980's. Divine died in 1988 of a heart complications, but is still loved around the world.
