August 2003: Trip to Jacksonville Beach, Florida In early August 2003, my friend John and I visited Jacksonville Beach, Florida to visit his friend Rob and get away from the big city (and right back into another city) for a few days off. The weekend saw Jacksonville's Gay Pride Festival in the ampitheater and oceanfront near Jacksonville Beach. John also planned a bit of work while we were away... he has such trouble unwinding. A big THANK YOU to Rob and all of his friends for being so welcoming while we were there. |

Sunrise First Day The first day we stayed, I decided to get up and try to capture a sunrise off the beach. This was only the third time I had visited the ocean, so it was a lovely sight. |
