The Right Path

Constantly looking

Constantly thinking

Always wondering

But never blinking

This is my life

Day after day

This is what I am

And who I want to be

Never stopping

Never ceasing

Never changing

But always rearranging

I'm living my life

In the here and now

Going my own way

Cause its the only way I know how

I teach what I can

And learn in return

I stare through people

And watch them burn

They cant stand my glaze

So they sit and squirm

Its the blaze in my eyes

And they know I don't lie

I can see their fears

And hear their cries

And when I sit and listen

I hear their lies

And they won't believe but it's funny to me

It's like I see more then they can ever see

It's almost as if

I know them better then they know themselves

And it's so sad cause they could have so much worth

But they chose the path they wanted to follow

Even if that path leaves them eventually hollow

And when this time comes

I'll sit back and laugh

Cause then I'll know I chose the right path
