What does he use?

Synthesizers
Rocket Boy creates electronic dance music using his computer and synthesizers. His main synthesizer is a Roland Mc-505 Groovebox. He uses it on almost every track that he has recorded. The Groovebox offers a large amount of sounds, an internal sequencer and real-time control knobs. He also uses a Alesis QSR for piano and string sounds.
Sequencer
A sequencer is a extremely important part of a producers studio. Rocket Boy prefers using Cakewalk Pro Audio and Sonic Foundry's Acid Music. Acid Music gives the music a "larger" vibe. "I like spending time manipulating audio samples like BT" says Rocket Boy. It gives the music an warmer tone. However, Rocket Boy occasionally creates tracks using just Cakewalk and his Groovebox.
Computer Programs
Cool Edit Pro is a great program to manipulate samples. The program is cheap and comes packed with effects. He uses Cool Edit to add effects to his samples. Although, to master his tracks he uses Sound Forge XP.
