THE FRIENDSHIP PRAYER
Dear God,
Please don't let anything happen to my best friend.
Whenever I'm stuck in a rut, she's always willing to listen.
She's my main source of support.
She takes the place of the shrink I can't afford.
She gives some good advice,
and never mentions that fact that I'm gaining weight in my thighs.
She cuts hair better than any beautician I know,
And she's not afraid to tell me when I have something stuck in my teeth.
When I have an important date or interview,
I can go to her house and borrow a shirt or shoes.
So you see God, unless you want another crazy lunatic in this world, you can't take my best friend unless you plan on taking me too.
