I just finished working on the video for my first single "Every Breath I Take" - and of course my whole Jymstone Fam represented! My cousins Zsa Zsa and Amber (together known as Stylz A2Z) and my best friend Shonte (rapper) were on the remix and in the video, and we're all happy because we just got the news that we will be going on tour with IMx and B2K!!
Shonte's been kickin it with Lil Fizz for about a year now, they're really cool friends. She wants to do a rap duet with him soon, and who knows, it could happen soon! My cousin Zsa Zsa and Omarion met when she was 5 and he was 6. They're still friends, and she even forgave him for the time he put gum in her hair when she was in second grade. I think he picked on her back then cuz he liked her - you know how stupid boys act when they're little!
After weeks of rehearsing, we had a party to celebrate the kick-off of the tour. I'm usually kind of shy around a lot of people, but De'Mario (aka Raz B) came over and started talking to me. We were joking around for so long, I didn't even notice the static that was about to start on the other side of the room!
I look up and notice some serious bad vibes between Kay-Kay and Zsa Zsa! Mario and I go over to them to find out what's going on.
KANDI: What's up?
ZSA ZSA: All I know is I was dancing with Omarion and this ho just bumped me out of the way!
KAY-KAY: Who are you callin a ho?
RAZ-B: Hey, ladies, no need for all of that! Kayla, you are always doing that stuff! You need to chill!
KAY-KAY: Whatever, I'm going home!
Later, Omari and Zsa Zsa are sitting outside talking.
ZSA ZSA: I'm sorry about that little scene earlier.
OMARION: You don't need to apologize, Kayla was the one who acted like a fool.
ZSA ZSA: She's always doing stuff like that. I know she likes you, but dang, she could show some class!
OMARION: Well you know how it is, hataz gon' hate. And Kay-Kay is a straight up hata.
ZSA ZSA (laughing): Yeah!
OMARION: That's why I just igged her, I didn't wanna give her any extra attention by causing a scene.
ZSA ZSA: I could tell, that's why I didn't just step to her!
OMARION: S*#!, she's lucky you didn't, I bet you could kick her butt!
ZSA ZSA: Yeah, like I kicked Jerome's butt when we were in elementary school! *Laughs*
OMARION (laughing): That's only because his mom taught him not to hit girls!
ZSA ZSA: Man, we did some crazy things back then. Now we're going to be on the road together for 3 months! I still can't believe this is happening! I mean, six months ago we went into the studio just hoping they would play us on the radio. Now we're about to open a 50-city tour!!
OMARION: I knew it would happen for you. You and your sister have mad talent!
ZSA ZSA: Thanks for introducing us to your peeps, man! If it weren't for that, we wouldn't be where we are! OMARION: Not a problem, Z! I believe in you, I knew it would happen!
