This is Jim's bicycle. He is the reason I started the Curb-shopping Web site. Jim loves to collect junk and bring it home. He goes to junk stores. He goes to thrift shops. He goes to flea markets. He goes to yard sales. He goes to rummage sales. Jim goes to all these places because he is an eternal optimist. He believes that, with training, one can spot what amounts to nothing and make into something special. That's why his favorite place to shop is on the curb. The price always justifies the purchase. After a while, the amount of stuff he has collected over the years has become unmanageable. I have decreed that no more junk is to be carried home. Even so, Jim sneaks in more stuff. He can't help it. He loves nostalgic items. He longs for remnants of the good old days. If we lived in a warehouse, there would be plenty of room for everything, but we don't. That's why I started the Curb-shopping Web site. I need a way to display Jim's collection so we can sell it. It's time for someone else to enjoy these things. We need the room.Jim has more stuff to collect. | To see larger images of items in Jim's collection, click on the thumbnails below. Maytag Washer Death Trap Erector Sets Sunbeam Mixmaster Lawn-boy
