Wireless Broadband - Description
by: Jeremy Maddock
Wireless broadband is a general term that applies to any kind of technology, which allows users to download data at high speeds without using a physical wire to connect to the internet. The most popular and advanced wireless broadband technology currently available is WiMAX, which allows for fast download speeds over a long range.

Wi-Fi is another popular wireless data technology, but it isn't as fast, and doesn't work outside of hotspots that are within a Local Area Network.
