Fifty Nifty - Fifty Nifty is a best song ever! We learned the entire song in just one week. This song teaches you how to say all fifty United States in ABC order. You can also sing the song really fast. We sing lots of songs in third grade. Here are some songs we've learned this year.

Pumpkin
Carving-In October we learned about pumpkins.
One of the activities was pumpkin carving. We guessed the amount
of seeds in the pumpkin. There were almost 500 seeds in our pumpkin.
We made him into a happy pumpkin.
Our Kwanzaa Celebration
- We learned a lot
about Kwanzaa this year. Kwanzaa is celebrated on December 26,.
The celebration lasts for 7 days. Each day the family celebrates
one of the "nguzo saba" or the seven principals. We enjoyed singing
songs about Kwanzaa, and adding a flame to our cardboard kinara each day.
Multiplication-
Multiplication is difficult but it is fun too. We have learned our
0-11 time tables. We play games in order to practice the facts.
