LIFE

Life is just too short, thought a young man one day, as he sat in a chair, on his porch, and he dreamed of what to say.

He thought:  “Well I missed out on this, and should have done that".

I always have and excuse when it comes my turn at bat.

Now the years are slipping away, and that, I cannot change.

The only thing left for me to do, is, change, the plan of my game.

Now with the help, of our Good Lord, I’ll make my turn about.

I’ll do the things that I can and should, without ever having doubt.

I thank the lord; for the days I’ve had, and for what ever lies in store.

I’ll never turn on Him again, I’ll love Him forever more.

Although my days are numbered, and the game I still can play.

I’ll be in service to my Lord, and I’ll take time to pray.
