This week I would like to speak for just a few moments on the subject of FEAR and some of what the BIBLE (GODS WORD) teaches about this thing called FEAR.

The Apostle Paul warned Timothy, "FOR GOD HAS NOT GIVEN US A SPIRIT OF FEAR; BUT OF POWER AND OF LOVE and A SOUND MIND".(2TIM 1:7 NKJ). Fear strangles hers victims slowly, bringing on a terrible spiritual death. A tormenting, death spiritually and some times even physically. FEAR will keep a person from being all they can be in Christ Jesus. She will stop you from receiving the promises God has bestowed upon his people. She will even make you physically ill if she is allowed to dominate your life. Some people can even become immobilized if they allow her to take over. Now don't think I am referring to that DEMONIC FORCE as a women being, but rather I am only using that expression to describe her as, one would, a car or a motorcycle. FEAR is neither male or female, but is a Spirit being of no gender. This Spirit was sent as a tormenting Spirit, to advert man from doing and being ALL that GOD intened. (1John 1:18) says "FEAR HATH TORMENT". Can a man or women of God be oppressed or even possessed by this SPIRIT? Certaintly, Gods people can be oppressed but, not possessed. Our churches are filled with people who are oppressed by that DEMONIC SPIRIT. I see it all the time, in many churches, saved people, struggling with anxiety, depression, and phobias like never before. Why is this SPIRIT on the rampage?, because Friend, Jesus Christ is soon to return and the spirit world is warring every moment of the day for our souls. She knows that if she can keep us from being all that God intened, by keeping us scared, depressed, doubtful, and anxious, that she has a chance to steal our soul and send us to HELL. I know your saying "What in the world is this Pastor saying". What I am saying, is that, we as HOLY GHOST filled beleivers, have DOMINION and POWER over satan and his angels and spirits. God said "THAT WHATSOEVER WE BIND ON EARTH SHALL BE BOUND IN HEAVEN AND WHATSOEVER WE LOOSE ON EARTH SHALL BE LOOSED IN HEAVEN". The battle we fight each and every day is not a battle of the flesh but, of the spirits. "FOR WE BATTLE NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD BUT, OF THE POWERS, PRINCIPALITIES AND FORCES OF DARKNESS" In the spirit world. Battles over souls is not in this world but in the realms of the spirit. That is where we will be either VICTOROUS or defeated. To many times we try to fight those battles in this world, with the things of our flesh. When we need to be fighting in Spirit, praying in the Spirit, and walking in the Spirit.

Matthew 25:14-30 tells a story of 3 men who Jesus spoke a parable of. It told how all 3 men were given something,(TALENTS) meaning money. They were each given a different sum. Just as we are given different gifts to be used for His Kingdom. We are each given a MEASURE of faith, the amount of faith may vary and also is subject to our TRAINING our minds, bodies, souls, and spirits, by the Word of God. Romans 12:2 reads "AND BE NOT CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD; BUT BE YE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MINDS; THAT YE MAY PROVE WHAT IS THAT GOOD, AND ACCEPTABLE, AND PERFECT, WILL OF GOD". God has given each of us a (TALENT) some more than others. But just as these 3 men were, so are the christians of today. The first was given much, 5 talents,the second was given generously, 2 talents, and the last was given little, but was still given, 1 talent. You and I have been given (TALENTS) meaning gifts, the moment we ask Christ to be our Lord.

The first man went and used his (Talents) and was waiting for the day when His Lord would return so he could give Him what was already His and to show Him that he was about His Lord's buisness. By giving his Lord more than what he had started with. The second man done the same. However, the third man was stricken with FEAR and went and buried his Talent. He did not use what God had gave him. So he had nothing to give his Lord but that which the Lord had given him. What happen when the Lord return? He told the first servant, "Well done thou GOOD and FAITHFUL servant: thou hast been FAITHFUL over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things; ENTER THOU INTO THE JOY OF THE LORD. This was repeated with the second man. But the third, when his Lord called him said, Lord, I WAS AFRAID and went and hid my talent in the earth; lo, there thou hast that is thine. The Lord WAS NOT pleased and told the man because he was given TALENTS and did not use them but hid them away that he was not fitting for the Kingdom of Heaven. Don't let the devil steal what God has Promised you because of FEAR an DEFEAT. Don't be afraid!!! Rather get down on your knees and call out to God, for He said, He would deliver us in our time of need. He said "THAT GREATER WAS HE THAT IS WITHIN US , THAN HE THAT IS WITHIN THE WORLD".

Friend if they are anything that would stop you from entering into the Kingdom of Heaven. I ask that you go to God in prayer and ask for His help, ask for His forgivness, and ask to be given that POWER from on high, the baptism of the Holy Ghost. God is still delivering people I know I am one of them. He delivered me from a situation that seemed almost hopeless, but I fell upon my knees and ask Jesus into my heart, and he came! PRAISE GOD! AND MY LIFE HASN'T BEEN THE SAME.IF YOU NEED HELP, JUST READ THE PRAYER BELOW OUT LOUD, WHEREVER YOU MAY BE GOD HEAR'S YOU. MEAN IT, AND HE WILL DELIVER YOU!.
