Desc Minor workers are 1.5 meters long, median workers 3 meters long, major workers 5 meters long, soldiers 7 meters long and the sessile queen is 14 meters long. Queens of nomadic ants have variable size- when they are moving, they are 8 meters long (use stats of soldiers without sting), and 14 meters long when laying eggs.

Cmbt Workers will attack any eatable organism while foraging. They use their stings (which can be any type of poison) to subdue animals before breaking them down into pieces for carrying. They use numbers, called with pheromones, to kill almost anything. Note that only median and major workers are found foraging. Minor workers are the ones to construct and maintain the colony. They only attack to defend the nest. Mobile queens only attack in defense. Most nests have other arthropod dwelling with

the ants, some are predators, some use the nest for protection, others are parasites. There can be caterpillars, spiders, beetles, flies and maggots, wasps, and pillbugs.

Hab Giant ants can be found almost anywhere. There are even arctic (which gets +3 steps to CON checks dealing with the cold) and wetland (which can submerge themselves for d4 hours) varieties. Only the ocean, which has little insect life of any kind, and lakes have no ants.

Soc Giant ants have a complex social caste system. Each species is different- from those with out workers (parasites) to those with only one type of worker. The GM must decide how complex he want a particular nest.
