A young Ankylosaur has been buried under
a mudslide and is being pressed to death
by the weight, only his head remains
exposed. The others are helplessly
watching and will be very friendly to
the PC's. It will take the PC's 30
minutes to 2 hours to dig the creature
out. While digging PC's will find 2D4
gems worth 100-400 gp. Characters that
are of good alignment will recieve 2x
the normal experience.
Note*: These Ankylosaur will follow
unaware PC's for one day and will aid
them if they are attacked to repay them.
15-21 Brontosaurus (1), This gentle giant is harmless and will be seen eating the leaves from large trees which stand nearby.

Several nearby high pitched screams are
heard. As the PC's get closer they see
a tall hut on legs. A family of natives
sit trapped in there own home fearing
for their lives. If the PC's aid the
natives they will be rewarded with a
meal of cornbread and fish as well as
anything else the DM wishes to include.
Keep in mind the natives do not
understand the language of the PC's but
they are very thankful.

These Dimetrodon mates sit bathing in
the path of the PC's. They will begin
to hiss at the party when they get
within 100'. If the PC's continue on
forward rather than going around the
Dimetrodons will attack not liking the
interruption to their sun bathing. PC's
who go around will be awarded 2x normal
experience.

The group finds a large cage that stands
7' tall with a bottom containing 3,200
gold 7 gems worth 100 gold. The cage
will detect magic if a detection is
attempted and it will also be trapped.
If a trap is detected a rope triggered
to a spring beneath the door will be
found. The rope leads to a hungry Hill
Giant who lurks 50' away behind a large
tree. Anyone caught in the trap will
not be able to use magic or extend their
arms pass the bars, which means lock
picking is impossible. The Giant wheres
the key around his neck and will attempt
to take PC's to his large home made of
boulders where he will attempt to eat
PC's!

The group finds several large human foot
prints in the now rocky terrain. The
tracks seem to be heading the same way
as them and if they do not remove
themselves from this trail their lives
will be threatened by a boulder throwing
Stone Giant. He has set up an ambush on
higher ground while the PC's are in the
lower ground. Trog the Stone Giant will
throw boulders at PC's until they
retreat or are slain. On one side of
the ravine he has set up several
boulders to be triggered as an
avalanche. If any boulders miss they
will slam agains the opposite wall of
the ravine causing the avalanche. PC's
will have to roll suprise checks. Those
that are suprised or fail a saving throw
versus paralysation take 3D10 pts of
damage from the avalanche. In his cave
home up ahead he has 1,700 gold, Potion
of Gaseous Form, Hammer of Thunderbolts
hanging on the wall, in addition his
stone club is +1.

These Couatl appear in human form. A
orphan child is found wandering about in
tears. He is lost, shy, scared and
crying. Unless a friendly reaction is
obtained through coaxing the little boy
(Couatl) they may have to talk their way
out of a sticky situation involving the
childs parents. The PC's will be seen
as whatever reaction the child is having
to them. They will arrive in 1D4 rds.
This is a charisma encounter so PC's
should have a challenge on their hands.
If they succesfully calm the child the
parents will thank them for finding the
child and give them each 1 gem worth
500gp and the following jewelry (Gold
Ring With Tiny Lizard Engravings 1,400
gp value, Silver Serpant Necklace 900 gp
value, A Beautiful Headress made of
Couatl Feathers 5,000 gp value, Gem
Encrusted Dagger 1,000 gp value,

The PC's find several broken eggshells
scattered about the ground and about
that time PC's will have to roll a
suprise as they are attacked from above
by the Pteranadons. Only one per
individual will attack until they
retreat or are slain.

4D6 Special: If both claws hit PC will
be carried to the ROC nest in this

Opponants will need to roll for suprise
with a -5 penalty due to the stealth of
the beasts first attack. The only
treasure found is at the nest.

Three Stegosaurus are drinking from a
shallow pool of water in their
"territory". PC's have 1D4rds to get
out of the area before the dinosaurs
catch sent of them and attack. They
will fight until their victims flee the
area or are slain. If one is slain
their morals will be made at half.
72-79 Trachodon (1),This duckbilled dinosaur stands about 15' tall on its hind legs and is simply eating vegetation. If attacked it will flee. It is very passive and will mostly ignore the PCs.

Large cracks and low grumbles can be
heard as the ground below you shakes.
If PC's go to investigate they will
discover 2 Triceratops fighting over
territory. If the PC's remain hidden
they may watch the fight. However after
the victor wins there is a 25% chance he
will catch sent of the viewers and
charge them.

Several animals will be noticed coming
towards the PC's over the next few
minutes before they hear the loud
omimous slow smashing sounds of
something large. The trees begin to
buckle under the wieght of something
very large and a sudden loud grumbling
roar can be heard as a 40' tall T-Rex
emerges over the treetops. I say hell
ya.
