Death Mountain: Above the entrance to Goron City

Starting from the entrance to Goron City, walk away and take the first right. Go forward to the fence, then walk left onto the small ledge. Face the fence, equip the Hover Boots and walk off the cliff, as close to the fence as possible. If done correctly, you'll land on the ledge above the entrance to Dodongo's Cavern. Continue forward for the Heart Piece.

Plant a Magic Bean as a kid in the hole at the entrance to Dodongo's Cavern. Return to the area as an adult and ride the leaf up to the Heart Piece.

Death Mountain Crater: In an alcove above a cliff

Enter Death Mountain using the top entrance next to the Great Fairy's Fountain. Go forward to the cliff, and climb down to find a Heart Piece in an alcove.

Death Mountain Crater: On top of the rocks

As a kid, quickly plant a Magic Bean next to the Triforce Symbol near the entrance to the Fire Temple. Return as an adult, get on the plant and ride it. Get off on top of the rock for a Heart Piece.

Desert Colossus: On top of arch

Go to the Desert Colossus and plant a Magic Bean in the hole near the entrance to the Spirit Temple. Return as an adult and get on the plant. Ride it around and jump off on top of the arch to find a Heart Piece.

Gerudo Fortress: Archery challenge

Complete the archery challenge with Epona and get between 1000 and 1499 points to earn a Heart Piece.

Gerudo Fortress: On the roof

Use the Longshot on the flagpole to get on the large rock. Longshot to the piece of wood that Link used to get out of jail to reach the ledge. Drop from the ledge, land on the second level and enter the only door. Go through the room and up the ramp to appear outside on a balcony. Go left to the railing and use the Longshot to reach the treasure chest on the roof. Open it for a Heart Piece.

Gerudo Valley: Behind the waterfall

Drop off from the bridge and go behind the waterfall to find a ladder. Climb up to the top to find a Heart Piece.

Gerudo Valley: On a ledge above the river

Enter Gerudo Valley from Hyrule Field, cross the wooden plank and grab the chicken. Walk to the other end of the bridge and turn left, facing away from the waterfall. Down-river is a small ledge on the right side with a crate on it. Grab a cucco and walk off the edge of the cliff to glide down to the ledge. Use a bomb to break the crate and collect the Heart Piece.

Enter Gerudo Valley from Hyrule Field, cross the wooden plank and follow the left wall to a cliff. Drop down to land on a narrow ledge, walk left to a boulder and use the Longshot to reach the crate on the other cliff. Break the crate open for a Heart Piece.

Goron City: In the large vase

Light the four braziers at the bottom of the city to make the large vase begin to move. Notice that the large vase has three faces: smiling, frowning and neutral. Throw Bombs into the opening at the top of the vase. Throw the bomb when the smiling face is facing you to collect the Heart Piece.

Graveyard: The digging game

As a kid, go to the Graveyard between sunset and 11 pm to find Dampé. Have Dampé dig on the soft dirt spots to randomly receive a Heart Piece.

Graveyard: Under a tombstone

After getting the Sun's Song, stand on the Triforce symbol in front of the family tombstone and face Dampé's house. Go down the small slope, then grab and pull the second tombstone on the left. Drop down the hole, then stand next to the grey wall and play the Sun's Song to make a big treasure chest appear. Open it for a Heart Piece.

Graveyard: In a crate

After getting the Longshot, go to the Graveyard and stand on the tombstone next to the one that leads to Dampé's race. Use the Longshot to reach the crate on the ledge and break it open for a Heart Piece. -- or --

As a kid, plant a Magic Bean at the bean hole in the Graveyard. Return as an adult and use the plant to reach the ledge. Break open the crate for a Heart Piece.

Graveyard: Dampé's Race

After getting the Hookshot, return to Dampé's grave and finish the race in less that one minute to be awarded a Heart Piece.

Hyrule Field: Near entrance to Lake Hylia

Go to the fenced-in area near the entrance to Lake Hylia and place a Bomb in the middle of this small area. Drop down the hole and defeat the Business Scrub. You'll then have the opportunity to purchase a Heart Piece from it for 10 Rupees.

Hyrule Field: Next to a tree

Face the drawbridge that leads to the Market at Hyrule Castle and go left along the moat until you reach a wall. Follow the wall until you arrive at the river. Turn left and follow the river until you reach a wall. Turn left to see a single tree with golden-brown leaves. Place a Bomb next to the tree to reveal a hole. Drop down and go to the bottom of the pond to locate a Heart Piece.

Ice Cavern: In the Compass room

From the entrance, proceed through the one-way hallway, and enter the next room. Defeat all the Freezzards and enter the doorway that opens. Continue through the hallway into the next room. Follow the right-hand wall to the second door and enter it by collecting all five Silver Rupees. Continue through the hallway and enter the next room. Defeat the Freezzards, using Bombs to destroy the one on the pillar. On the second pillar, use an empty Bottle to collect some Blue Fire. Backtrack through the one-way hallway to the previous room. Follow the left wall to the first wall of red ice and use the Blue Fire to open it. Enter the door and go through the one-way hallway to the next room. Get some Blue Fire in this room and use it to melt the red ice around the Heart Piece.

Kakariko Village: In a cage near a cow

Play through the game until you get the Bomb Bag. Walk up the path away from Dodongo's Cavern and go up the slope before reaching the entrance to Goron City. Continue up to the top of Death Mountain, bombing any boulders blocking the way, and talk to the owl to be carried down to Kakariko Village (if the owl doesn't carry you down, bomb the stone door to the left of the owl and get the Spin Attack). After being dropped off on a roof, turn around and go forward to the wall. Turn left, drop off the edge of the house onto a wooden ledge and enter the opening in the wall for the Heart Piece.

As an adult, stand next to the door that leads into the windmill and use the Hookshot to reach the roof of the closest building. Continue to the roof of the House of Skulltula, then left to the roof of the house next to the wall. Go forward to the wall, turn left and drop off the roof to land on the wooden platform above the fenced-in area. Enter the hole in the wall to get the Heart Piece (this is much easier if you have found the Longshot).

Kakariko Village: From the person on the roof

Go to the entrance of the Windmill and face away from the door. Stand on top of the fence, and Hookshot to the roof where the person is sitting. Talk to the person to get a Heart Piece.

Kakariko Village: In the Windmill

As a kid, throw the Boomerang at the heart piece to collect it.

As an adult, use the Hookshot to get onto the ledge that the Heart Piece is on. You exit onto this ledge after getting the Hookshot from Dampé.

Kakariko Village: In the House of Skulltula

After getting 50 Gold Skulltula Tokens return to the House of Skulltula to be awarded a Heart Piece.

Lake Hylia: On top of the house

As a kid, plant a Magic Bean in the soft soil next to the house. Play the Song of Storms to make it grow. Return as an adult and allow the plant to carry you up.

Lake Hylia: From the fishing game

As a kid, play the fishing game and catch the largest fish possible. Bring the big fish to the fisherman and ask to talk about the fish. If the fish is heavy enough, Link will receive a Heart Piece.

Lake Hylia: From the Professor

Enter the house at Lake Hylia and go into the pool. Dive down and have Link touch the bottom (you'll need to have the Gold Scale). Surface and talk to the Professor to be awarded a Heart Piece.

Lon Lon Ranch: In the tower

As a kid, enter the tower at the back of Lon Lon Ranch. Grab and move the crates to find a small hole in the corner. Crawl through the hole to find a Heart Piece.

Lost Woods: From the Skull Kids

As a kid, enter the Lost Woods from Kokiri Forest and go through the opening on the right. Go down the ladder and then onto the stump on the right to make two Skull Kids appear. use the Ocarina and play the song that they play to be awarded a Green Rupee. Play the second song for a Blue Rupee, and the third song for a Heart Piece.

Lost Woods: From the lone Skull Kid

As a kid, enter the Lost Woods from Kokiri Forest and go through the opening on the left. Get on the stump and play Saria's Song to be awarded a Heart Piece.

Market: Treasure Chest Game

After nightfall, play the Treasure Chest Game. Choose the correct treasure chest to get a Small Key (which is randomly selected), enter the next room and repeat. In the sixth room you will earn a Heart Piece. To make things easier, use the Lens of Truth to see the correct treasure chest.

Market: Treasure Find the lost dog

At night, go to the corner next to the bazaar to find a dog. Enter the Back Alley next to the Treasure Chest Game shop and enter the second door. Talk to the woman and she'll reward Link with a Heart Piece for finding her dog.

Market: Bombchu Bowling Alley

Go to the Bombchu Bowling Alley and win the game to earn a prize. On a random occasion, you will earn a Heart Piece.

Zora's Domain: Light the braziers

Go up to King Zora's chamber and use the flame to light a Deku Stick. Quickly go down the ramp and light the brazier. Follow the left wall and light the brazier next to the Shop, then continue forward and light the brazier in the shallow water. Finally, go left and light the last two braziers behind the waterfall. Open the treasure chest which appears to earn a Heart Piece.

Zora's Fountain: On an iceberg

After turning into an adult, return to Zora's Fountain. Jump across the icebergs to locate a Heart Piece.

Zora's Fountain: In the lake

After getting the Iron Boots, go to the center of the lake. Equip the boots and sink to the bottom of the water. You'll find the Heart Piece in the center of the lake.

Zora's River: On a pillar

After getting the Hover Boots, return to Zora's River and use them to reach the Heart Piece on the pillar.

As a kid, use the Boomerang to reach the Heart Piece.

Zora's River: On a ledge near the waterfall

After getting the Hover Boots return to the waterfall. Use the Hover Boots to reach the ledge that the Heart Piece is on.

As a kid, use the Boomerang to reach the Heart Piece.

Zora's River: From the frogs

Go up Zora's River until you fin a log surrounded by colorful frogs. Walk onto the log, and play the Song of Storms to be awarded a Heart Piece.

Zora's River: Feed the frogs

Go up Zora's River until you reach the frogs. Play all of the non-warp songs to make every frog grow, then use the Ocarina again to talk to the frogs and begin the bug-catching game. When a bug is above a frog, press the corresponding button on the controller to make it jump up and eat the bug. Repeat until a Heart Piece is awarded.
