FAQ EZboard is the greatest message board service I've ever come across. It's design and layout is very similar to UBB boards, but even better if you ask me. EZboard hosts a vast plethora of gaming boards, and that is where I spend most of my time online. Many, many forums on all subjects of games imaginable spanning hundreds of boards, and anyone can make thier own with the slightest of ease. Oh I don't know, personal pictures and profiles, the ability to use most html within posts, the incredible ease of use, the people, the freedom... That's one of the best parts, it's free. It costs zip, zilch, nada, while an inferior UBB will put you back about $180. .......Why? I wanted to finish this FAQ, I can't leave now. I'm sorry, it's just I, I have problems communicating... No, it's not that, it's just... Ah, nevermind... Heh.. Yeah, a little wierd Yes, let's EZboard Tricks One quick note, most html used in EZboard does not require quotation marks It's easy, the code is <img src=yourpicturesurlhere> Not really all that secret, but <font face=webdings>. To decipher it, copy and paste it into the address bar. Only works at boards with the ability to post unregistered. Put "<" as your full name, a parser deletes this symbol for some reason. This trick used to work in post titles too, but EZboard changed it in 5.1 (the last upgrade). EZboard found out later that it works with names too and said that since it's not imperitive to fix at the moment, they'll fix it in 5.2, so enjoy this one while you can. This one's neat. <DIV STYLE="width:200;height:30;filter:fliph()">Your Text Here</DIV>. This will display all of your text backwards, confusing many people. Relax, it doesn't work anymore, an honest person pointed it out and EZboard fixed it. But it's just too good to not tell you about. Not long ago, you could manually type in the URL to any posts edit screen and you could edit anyone elses post with thier name being at the bottom, as if they edited it themselves. Better still, you could view the source and get thier password. Luckily, no one ever used this hostily, but it was used to get back the password of someone who had lost thiers. Suggested EZboards Kiera Yin Cat's Game Center The main place I go to, the board that started me on EZboard in the first place, and the greatest videogame board on the net in my opinion. Definately check this out if you haven't already. The Ultimate EZboard Gaming Ring A board made by me, it's meant to be a central place for gamers to advertise and promote thier boards, and has a lot of gaming boards in it's board ring.
