Alright, level 3! My favorite level! Unlike all of the other ones this one is vertical-based, you have to make your way up the waterfall to get to the next enemy base. Hiking our way upwards, the difficulty increases and the action picks up. There are a lot of power-ups in the begining of the stage, remember to shoot the football falcons that rise upward at the metal bridge, they are a barrier and a rapid fire. This is worth noting as the only place in the game with a bridge like that, the flame enemies, and football falcons that rise upward. Later on there's a tough part with 2 turrets on either side of the screen and enemies attacking from both sides. Shoot the right turret from underneath, jump quickly to the other side and destroy the other turret and jump onto the moving platform to safety. Finally we come to a rocky part above the waterfall. Watch out for the gunmen coming up on the left side.

The level 3 boss attacks you with his unpredictably moving arms which shoot out projectiles every now and then, and also by shooting 3 projectiles from his mouth. First destroy the left arm, get directly under it and fire away, avoiding the projectiles. Now do the same to the right arm. After both arms are gone, there is a safe spot where you can get a clear shot of his mouth, shown in the second picture above.
