Military
The military forces in Lamb's Cove are vested in three branches, the Army, the Navy and the Air Corps, all of which are overseen by the Ministry of Military Affairs (a civilian position). Each branch is commanded by a single Commandant Major, the highest military rank conferred. The Commandants Major make up the Chiefs of Staff.

Military ranks historically varied from one branch to the other, although there were established parallels. (For example, a Navy admiral was equivalent to an Army general, etc.) However, a few years ago, the Ministry of Military Affairs decided to standardize the ranks among the forces. In addition, insignia were changed so that the same rank wears the same emblem no matter what branch. The branches of service are distinguished by different color insignias: Army, red; Navy, green; Air Corps, blue.
