The Four Swords Overworld consists of 5 major places. The first one at the absolute right is the Chamber of Insight. This place is just one gigantic tutorial and is actually quite boring. The next, to it's left is the Sea of Trees. To it's left is Talus Cave and above that is Death Mountain. After you defeat the major 3 levels you can progress to Vaati's Palace.
This is the overworld map for Four Swords Anniversary Edition. On the anniversary version of the game for DSi and 3DS, Nintendo added two new areas. In the exact middle of the screen there was a Triforce emblem placed and after you beat the game it opens up. It is called the Realm of Memories. Inside are three stages that house three levels each. One stage is A Link to the Past themed, another is Link's Awakening themed, and the last one is The Legend of Zelda themed.
The second place they added is located above the Chamber of Insight and below Vaati's Palace on the map. This place is the Hero's Trials which are three stages as well that house three levels each. These are extremely hard to go through alone as you can play the anniversary version of the game single player. Tred carefully when progressing through these if you choose to do it by yourself.
