Kokiri Sword - Link's basic sword. A new design from his previous weapon in Ocarina of Time.
Razor Sword - Link can buy this for 100 rupees at the Blacksmith shop in Mountain Village. Once it is tempered, which takes a whole day, it does twice as much damage as the Kokiri Sword, but after 100 hits it reverts back to the Kokiri Sword.
Gilded Sword - This sword is Link's permanent upgrade after the Razor Sword. To get this sword, first you must get gold dust by winning the Goron race, and then, upgrade to a Razor Sword. Come back the next day, pick up the Razor Sword, and give the Blacksmith the gold dust. One day later you will have the Gilded Sword, which does three times as much damage as the Kokiri Sword.
Great Fairy's Sword - Found at the Great Fairy's Fountain after rescuing 15 stray fairies from the Stone Tower Temple, Link can use this giant sword to inflict four times the amount of damage of the Kokiri Sword.
Hero's Shield - Link's basic shield for most of the game.
Mirror Shield - Found beneath the well in Ikana Canyon, this shield allows Link to reflect light and defend against most attacks.
Hero's Bow - Found in the Woodfall Temple, this is Link's trusty weapon for firing arrows and magic arrows. This weapon plays an important role in the game.
Quiver - Found in Woodfall Temple, Clock Town and Swamp Shooting Galleries. It holds Link's arrow supply.
Fire Arrow - Found at the Snowhead Temple, this arrow magic burns objects, melt ice, and light torches. (2 MP per use)
Ice Arrow - Found at the Great Bay Temple, this magic freezes Link's enemies, and makes use of temporary icebergs in water. (2 MP per use)
Light Arrow - Found in the Stone Tower Temple, this arrow magic is used to trigger sun switches and melt sun blocks. They also stun certain enemies in battle. (4 MP per use)
Hookshot - Found in the Gerudo's Fortress, Link can grapple hooks to reach distant places and it pull distant items toward him, and he can also use a laser sight to determine whether he can make the grapple.
Deku Nut - These are used as stunners. Link can then attack his enemies much easier.
Deku Stick - Can be used as a weapon or torch for Link.
Bomb - These are the items used by Link to blow up various things such as boulders, cracks in walls, and certain enemies.
Bomb Bag - Found in Clock Town Bomb Shop and from the Akindo Nut at the Goron Village for 200 rupees. It holds Link's bomb supply.
Bombchu - These are moving bombs that explode after a period time and even crawls up walls! They are used to destroy targets on walls, ceilings, and other tricky locations.
Powder Keg - Found after completing the Powder Keg Training course from the Big Goron in Snowhead, Link can buy these as a Goron for 50 rupees from the Big Goron near the Goron Shrine or from the goron in the Clock Town Bomb Shop. These bombs are used to blow up giant boulders or other things that bombs cannot blow up. Only Goron Link can carry these bombs.
Magic Bean - Link can find these from the Swamp Akindo Nut or the guy in the hidden hole inside the Deku Palace. By planting these and adding spring water, they will grow into flying leaves! Look for the dirt patches to plant them.
Ocarina of Time - Get this back from Skull Kid on the Final Night on top of the clock tower. This is used to play songs with many different effects; for instance, Deku Link has pipes, Goron Link has bongos, and Zora Link has a guitar all of which are used when using the ocarina in a different form.
Lens of Truth - Found at the Goron Village at Snowhead in a cave, these are used to see invisible things with magic. (1 MP every 5 seconds)
Bottle - Used to hold bugs, poes, fish, fairies, milk, potions, big poes, Zora eggs, mushrooms, gold dust, spring water, hot spring water, Deku princesses, Chateau Romani, and seahorses. You can get this from, Beaver Race, Kotake, Romani's Ranch/Alien Raid, Dampe, Goron Race, and Madam Aroma.

Clock Town
1. Go to North Clock Town. You will notice a tree with a Heart Piece in the center of it. Using the boxes and platforms near the tree, jump over to collect it.
2. In the main part of town (where the Clock Tower is) give the Deku Merchant the Moon's Tear in exchange for the Land Title Deed, then, as Deku Link, use the launcher to get up to the small ledge on the tower, where you will collect the heart piece.
3. On the left side of town, visit the room with a man sitting on a platform. Pay him 10 rupees to play the log-chopping game, and chop all of the logs that appear by using overhead/jumping attacks. If you score at least 30, you get the heart piece.
4. Collect 5,000 rupees from the many bushes outside of Clock Town, then take them back and deposit them into your account (via the banker on the left side of town) and once you have 5,000 in your account, you will be rewarded with the Heart Piece.
5. Play the Postman Mini Game at his house. You need to stop the timer exactly on 10 seconds to obtain the piece of heart. Using the Bunny Hood allows you to see the timer. His house is located in West Clock Town
6. Once you gain the Kamaro's Mask, wear it in front of the dancing twins at night in Clock Town. Press B in front of them to teach them a new dance and gain the Heart Piece.
7. Go to the north part of Clock Townand, while wearing the Keaton Mask, chop up the bushes near the slide and you will summon Keaton. Answer 5 of his random questions and you'll get the heart piece. Keaton also appears in two other locations in the game, Milk Road and behind the Mountain Smithy in the Mountain Village during Spring.
8. Take the Land Title Deed you got from the Deku Merchant in Clock Town to the Inn on the right side of town after 12:00 AM on any day. Use the Deku Launcher to get to the roof of the Inn, and go through the door to enter it, then head down the stairs and find a hand. Give it the Land Title Deed to get another Land Title Deed along with the heart piece.
9. Wear the Couple's Mask in front of Mayor Dotour to get the heart piece.
10. Use the Postman's Hat to look in any mail box to get a Heart Piece.
11. Wear the All-night Mask and go to the Stock Pot Inn and listen to Anju's story about the carnival and answer "On the eve of the carnival" to get a heart piece.
12. Wear the All-night Mask and go to the Stock Pot Inn and listen to Anju's story about the Four Giants and answer "I dunno" to get a heart piece.
13. Score a perfect 50 in the town shooting gallery.
14. Enter Honey & Darling's shop on the first day with a bow and bomb bag. Get the high score three days in a row and they will give you a heart piece.
15. As Goron Link, enter the Treasure Chest Shop between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00p.m. If you win the prize will be a heart piece.
16. Enter the Deku Scrub playground in North Clock town on the first day and beat the top score three days in a row. On the third day they will give you a heart piece.
Termina Field
17. Go to the Astral Observatory and watch the Business Scrub leave Clock Town and head towards a grotto on the ground right by the Observatory. After this happens you can walk there or use a Bean Leaf and water to get over the fence and enter the grotto. Refuse his first offer of 150 rupees for the piece and he will lower it to 100 rupees.
18. In north Termina Field under one of the mushrooms is a hole that leads to a room with two giant Dodongos. Kill both Dodongos to get a heart piece.
19. Near each exit of Clock Town, you will find a hole in the ground which leads to a room with gossip stones. Play the Goron's Lullaby to each of the 4 stones to gain a Heart Piece.
20. Take the south exit of Clock Town, and start on the path you would normally take to get to Milk Road. As you are walking through the tall grass and look for butterflies, the grotto is located near them. Inside the grotto is a Peahat, defeat it for your prize.
21. Near the entrance to the Great Bay Coast is a large rock. Bomb it and drop down the hole. Shoot down one of the beehives on the ceiling and the heart piece will fall into the water. Be careful because there is a Bio Deku Baba in the water.
Swamp
22. Right after you leave Termina field and enter the swamp area you will see a tree with alot of Guay circling it. Climb this tree and on the top is your piece of heart.
23. After you get the Land Title Deed from the Inn in Clock Town, take it to the Deku Merchant next to the Photo Hut in the swamp, and he will give you another Land Title Deed, and then fly off. Use the Deku Launcher to launch up to the roof of the Photo Hut where you'll find the heart piece.
24. After defeating Odolwa, go back to the photo hut and talk to Kotake as normal Link, she will challenge you to a game of archery. Shoot at least 30 targets before the boat ride is over to gain the Heart Piece.
25. Using your Pictograph Box, take a picture of the Deku King in the Deku Palace or Tingle the map maker in any location, and bring it back to the owner of the Photo Hut. He will reward you with the heart piece.
26. Get a perfect score in the swamp shooting gallery to obtain a bigger quiver, play again for the piece.
Deku Palace
27. After you enter the Deku Palace, go past the two guards, and take the left path to enter a maze. Go through the maze, making sure you avoid the deku guards (who will throw you out if their lights touch you) until you reach the end, where a heart piece will be waiting.
Woodfall
28. Inside the room where you play the Sonata of Awakening, launch over to a lone platform with a golden treasure chest on it. Open the chest to get the Heart Piece.
Mountain Village
29. Once you get the Zora Mask, go to Goron Shrine (in the area where you bought the map) and dive under to get the heart piece from a treasure chest near the ramp. You can only get it when wearing the Zora Mask, so remember to visit this area again (after you get the mask.)
30. Once you get the Don Gero Mask, use it to talk to the 5 frogs in the game, located in:
- Clock Town: Near the tree at the Laundry Pool.
- Woodfall Temple: After defeating Gekko, he will turn into a frog.
- Woodfall Swamp: You will find this frog on a log near the potion hut.
- Great Bay Temple: Defeat Gekko again to turn him into a frog.
- Mountain Village: The last frog will be here with the other 4 after you speak to the above 4 and you will get the heart piece from it.
31. Active the Scarecrows Song and go to the area right before Snowhead. Near the end use the lens of truth to see the hidden platforms. Jump across and use the Scarecrow's Song and the hookshot to get to the heart piece.
32. As a Deku Scrub trade the Swamp Title Deed for the mountain title deed. Use the launcher to get a heart piece above you on a ledge.
Great Bay
33. Go to the 2nd area of Great Bay and fire your hookshot on the palm trees on each platform. Go up to the top and through the opening, then dive into the water as Zora Link. Sink down, talk to the beaver, and he will race you through 20 rings. If you go through them all before the time is up, you can race his brother through 25 rings and get a bottle if you make it. Race them both again and win to get the heart piece.
34. Head over to the 2nd area of Great Bay, and dive down where the waterfall is. Kill the skeleton fish followed by the Like-Like to obtain the piece.
35. In the Gold Skulltulla House #2 side quest, go into the room with colored skeleton masks, and shoot them 6 times, in a specific order. It's random every time, so I can't tell you the order, you'll just have to use trial and error until you get it right. Once done, go through the opening and get the heart piece from the treasure chest.
36. Exchange a picture of a pirate for the seahorse with the fisherman. Put the seahorse into a bottle and release it near Pinnacle Rock. Kill all the sea snakes and rescue the trapped seahorse to get a heart piece.
37. Catch fish in bottles and feed the fish in the Marine Research Lab. After a while one of the fish will get too big and eat the other fish. After its done eating it will give you a heart piece. Having more than one bottle will help significantly.
38. After Gyorg is beaten ride the boat that is docked north of the Research Lab out to a island and use the hookshot to get on the island. Beat the fisherman's jumping game to get a piece of heart.
39. Near the jumping game, on the shore is a section where you can hookshot up to some soft soil. Plant a seed and water it. Use the plant to ride up and at the top play the scarecrows song and hookshot over to the heart piece.
Zora Hall
40. Warp to the owl statue in Zora Hall, and go into the Japas's room. Hookshot up to the top ledge and read the journal as Zora Link to learn 2 parts of a song. Go into the guitarist's room and play the first part after he plays his part, and the 2nd part after he plays his second part, then go to the pianist's room and play the whole song to him as normal Link to get the heart piece.

41. As the Goron offer the Mountain title deed to the Deku Scrub in Lulu's dressing room. Use the Deku flower to get to a heart piece.
Pirate Fortress
42. After you go through the maze and into the next area, walk up the stairs and fire punch all the barrels as Goron Link. One of them has a hidden switch underneath that you can step on as Goron Link. Step on it to open the jail cell door below, then quickly run down to get the heart piece inside.
Ikana Canyon
43. As Zora Link, offer the Ocean title deed to the Deku Scrub near Sakon's Hideout. Use the Deku Flower to get to the nearby heart piece.
44. Beat the Ghost Hut challenge to get a heart piece. (Right above the Music Box House.)
Ikana Graveyard
45. In the graveyard at night (on the 2nd day) wear the Captain's Hat and command the Stalchildren to dig up the graves so that you can enter a underground lair. Use the Lens of Truth to get through the lair and a bomb to break through a wall. Kill the Iron Knuckle to get a piece of heart.
Ikana Ruins
46. At the top of the ruins there is a crystal switch. Hit the switch with an arrow to turn of the fire around the Deku Flowers. Then you can fly to the heart piece.
47. Behind the waterfall in Ikana Canyon lies a door that can only be opened by a Light Arrow. Enter the secret shrine and defeat all the enemies in the four rooms at the directional points. After you have killed them all return to the center room for a heart piece.
Romani Ranch
48. Make at least 150 rupees in winnings (at the dog races) to earn a heart piece. To make this easier use the Mask of Truth that you can obtain from the Spider House in Woodfall Swamp. With this you can read the minds of the dogs. Pick up dogs until you find one that says, "I feel unstopable" "I'm not gonna lose," something that you know the dog will not lose. If you pick up a dog that gives you a nuetral quote like they are not sure how they will do, or a bad quote like they don't feel well, do not pick them. If you bet 80 rupees and your dog takes first or second you will obtain the piece. Third through fifth place will at least get your money back.
The Moon
49. In the Odolwa Dungeon.
50. In the Goht Dungeon.
51. In the Gryorg Dungeon; Go left, left, right then left again.
52. In the Twin-Mold Dungeon.
Deku Mask - After Link gets back the Ocarina from Skull Kid and returns to the first day, go to the Mask Shop owner and he teaches Link the Song of Healing, which heals Link and he gets the Deku Mask. This mask allows Link to change into a Deku Scrub.
Goron Mask - Get the Lens of Truth and then follow the ghost of Darmani to the Goron Graveyard. Play the Song of Healing to get the mask. This mask allows Link to change into a Goron.
Zora Mask - At the Great Bay, find Mikau and pull him ashore. Look for seagulls in the water. Play the Song of Healing to get the mask. This mask allows Link to change into a Zora.
Giant's Mask - Defeat the Eyegore just before entering the boss chamber in the Stone Tower, and claim it from the nearby treasure chest. This mask changes Link into a giant to make the battle with TwinMold easier.
Fierce Deity's Mask - Collect all the masks available in the game, and give them to the moon children. This transforms Link into an ultimate warrior during the battle with Majora's Mask.
All-Night Mask - On the 1st night, foil Sakon's robbery of the old lady of the Bomb Shop at 12:30 A.M. in North Clock Town. On the final night, purchase the mask in the Curiosity Shop for 500 rupees, but you need the Giant's Wallet to do this. It can be received after you collect 30 Skulltula Tokens from the Oceanside Spider House. This mask allows you to stay awake all night during Anju's Grandmothers stories.
Blast Mask - On the 1st night, foil Sakon's robbery of the old lady of the Bomb Shop at 12:30 A.M. in North Clock Town. She will give this mask as a reward. This mask takes the place of a bomb. Press B and a blast will occur, but you do take damage from this.
Bremen Mask - On the 1st or 2nd night between 6 P.M. and 6 A.M., talk Guru-Guru while he is playing his music box in the laundry pool. He will give this mask after you listen to him. With this mask, Link can lead animals around in a line. Use this to get the Bunny Hood at the Cucco Shack near the Romani Ranch.
Circus Leader's Mask - On the 1st or 2nd night between 10 P.M. and 5 A.M., use the Romani Mask to access the Milk Bar. Toto, a Zora, is standing near the stage. You will have to change into all your different forms to perform a sound check. Gorman will cry and give you his mask. Use this mask it will scare the Gorman brothers when they try to rob Cremia's wagon of milk on the 2nd night.
Couple's Mask - Note: You will be unable to get this mask if you foil Sakon's robbery on the 1st night in North Clock Town. On the 1st day between 10 A.M. and 8 P.M., get Kafei's Mask from Madame Aroma at the Mayor's residence. One the 1st day between 1:50 P.M. and 4:50 P.M., get the room key from Anju at the Stock Pot Inn, and then, show her Kafei's Mask in which she will ask you to meet her that night at 11:30. Between 12 A.M. and 6 A.M., meet her in the kitchen of the Stock Pot Inn to get the letter to Kafei. On the 2nd day between 6 A.M. and 9 A.M., put the letter to Kafei in a mailbox (it will be delivered later by the postman). Between 3:30 P.M. and 10 P.M., go talk to Kafei behind the Curiosity Shop in which you enter the door through the Laundry Pool. He will give you the Pendant of Memories and tell you about the mask Sakon stole from him. That night between 5 P.M. and 9 P.M., go back to the Stock Pot Inn and give the Pendant of Memories to Anju in which she says she will wait for Kafei. On the final day 1 P.M. and 5 P.M., go back through the Laundry Pool to the door where you were yesterday, and talk to the man inside to find out where Kafei is. He says Kafei has gone to Ikana to recover his mask from Sakon before the moon crashes. On the final between 6 P.M. and 7 P.M., meet Kafei at Sakon's hideout in Ikana Canyon. Complete the maze until Kafei recovers the Sun Mask. You have to move quick because the mask could be lost at the end of the conveyer belt if you are too slow. Just move quickly through each room and you will be fine, but only one person can open a door at a time by using the switches, so be prepared. Finally, meet Kafei and Anju in the Employees Only room on the 2nd floor of the Stock Pot Inn between 4 A.M. and 6 A.M. They will give you the mask. This mask will yield Link a piece of heart when wears it in front of the mayor who is listening to the townsfolk argue on the 1st or 2nd day. It reminds them of marriage and other happy events.
Don Gero's Mask - Put the Elder Goron's son to sleep with the Goron Lullaby, and then light all the torches in the Goron Shrine using a Deku Stick and the Bunny Hood. Use the Goron jump at the top to break the pots on the chandelier until you have recovered the Rock Sirloin. Carry it, as Goron Link, to the starving Goron on the ledge by the Blacksmith's Cabin in Mountain Village. Toss it to him and he will give you the mask. This mask will allow Link to talk with the five frogs. Return to Mountain Village in the spring and play a song with the frogs to get a piece of heart.
Great Fairy's Mask - After Link returns to normal from his Deku problem, catch the the fairy in Clock Town, and take it back the Great Fairy's Fountain in North Clock Town. She gives the mask in return for saving her. This mask allows stray fairies to come to Link and alerts Link of a presence of one.
Garo's Mask - Beat the Gorman Brothers at a horse race off of Milk Road to get this mask. This mask allows Link to gain access to Ikana Canyon and to fight the ancient Garo Ninjas.
Gibdo Mask - Enter the cave in Ikana to find the evil Composer Brother, Sharp. He tries to kill Link, but if you play the Song of Storms, it will un-curse Sharp and water will begin to flow starting the music of the Music Box House. The Gibdos will die and a little girl exits the house. However, she will not let Link inside. Throw a bomb away from the door and she will go to investigate it. Now, you can enter the house. Go downstairs to find Pamela's father who is cursed; he looks like a Gibdo, so play the Song of Healing, and he will turn back into a normal person leaving Link with the mask. This mask allows Link to talk to Gibdos and he can pas by them and Redeads without being noticed.
Captain's Hat - Play the Sonata of Awakening in front of Skull Keeta. Use the Fire Arrows to slow him down until you can finish him off with your sword. After you defeat him, hookshot over to the chest and claim the mask. This mask allows Link to control the Stalchildren and pass by Redeads without being noticed.
Bunny Hood - On the final day between 6 A.M. and 8 P.M., go to the Cucco Shack and talk to Grog. He wishes his chickens would grow up before the moon crashes. Put on the Bremen mask and hold down B to march. Round up all the chickens and they will grow into giant Cuccos. He gives you the mask as a token of his thanks. This mask makes travel much easier by allowing Link to run faster.
Kafei's Mask - On the 1st day between 10 A.M. and 8 P.M., talk with Madame Aroma at the Mayor's residence. She will give Link the mask after he says he is looking for Kafei as well. This mask allows Link to get info on Kafei's whereabouts.
Kamaro's Mask - On any night between 12 and 6 A.M., look for a strange man dancing on top of one of the mushroom stones in Termina Field near the entrance to Snowhead. Talk to him and play the Song of Healing to release his troubled spirit. He gives you a mask. Use this mask to perform a strange dance by pressing B in front of the Rosa Sisters. They will call you master and give you a piece of heart.
Keaton Mask - On the 1st day between 10 A.M. and 8 P.M., get Kafei's Mask from Madame Aroma at the Mayor's residence. One the 1st day between 1:50 P.M. and 4:50 P.M., get the room key from Anju at the Stock Pot Inn, and then, show her Kafei's Mask in which she will ask you to meet her that night at 11:30. Between 12 A.M. and 6 A.M., meet her in the kitchen of the Stock Pot Inn to get the letter to Kafei. On the 2nd day between 6 A.M. and 9 A.M., put the letter to Kafei in a mailbox (it will be delivered later by the postman). Between 3:30 P.M. and 10 P.M., go talk to Kafei behind the Curiosity Shop in which you enter the door through the Laundry Pool. He will give you the Pendant of Memories and tell you about the mask Sakon stole from him. That night between 5 P.M. and 9 P.M., go back to the Stock Pot Inn and give the Pendant of Memories to Anju in which she says she will wait for Kafei. On the final day 1 P.M. and 5 P.M., go back through the Laundry Pool to the door where you were yesterday, and talk to the man inside to find out where Kafei is. The man will give you the mask. This mask allows Link to summon a Keaton near living brushes. Answer all his questions correctly and he will give you a piece of heart.
Postman's Hat - On the 1st day between 10 A.M. and 8 P.M., get Kafei's Mask from Madame Aroma at the Mayor's residence. One the 1st day between 1:50 P.M. and 4:50 P.M., get the room key from Anju at the Stock Pot Inn, and then, show her Kafei's Mask in which she will ask you to meet her that night at 11:30. Between 12 A.M. and 6 A.M., meet her in the kitchen of the Stock Pot Inn to get the letter to Kafei. On the 2nd day between 6 A.M. and 9 A.M., put the letter to Kafei in a mailbox (it will be delivered later by the postman). On the final day 1 P.M. and 5 P.M., go back through the Laundry Pool to the door where you were yesterday, and talk to the man inside to find out where Kafei is. Get the Special Delivery to Mama and give it to the Postman on the final night at 6 P.M. He will deliver it to her at the Milk Bar right after you give it to him. Wait outside until he comes out. Follow him over to the corner and he will give the hat. Use this hat to get a piece of piece heart and other items inside mailboxes.
Romani's Mask - On the first night between 2:30 and 5:15 A.M., protect Romani and cows from the alien invaders with your bow and Epona. Slowing down time slows down the aliens' movement making it easier to kill them. On the second at 7 P.M. return to the ranch and tag along with Cremia as she rides to Clock Town. Fire arrows at the thieves who are trying to steal the milk. If have one bottle left at the end of the trip, you get the mask! Use this mask to enter the Milk Bar Latte at night as proof of membership.
Mask of Scents - Clear the Woodfall Temple and return the Deku princess to her father. Visit the Deku Shrine on the left side of the palace by following the lily pads. Follow the Deku butler to the end of the course while wearing the Bunny Hood and get the mask. This mask allows Link to sniff out items for the hags to make magical potions.
Stone Mask - Head up on the road to Ikana and look for a ring of stones to the right of the entrance to Ikana. Turn on the Lens of Truth to find a wounded soldier. Give him a Red Potion to get the mask. This mask allows Link to go unnoticed almost anywhere! He can walk by almost all enemies and they will not even sew him.
Mask of Truth - On 1st or 2nd day, go to the spider house in Woodfall, and after you clear all 30 spiders, you get this mask. This mask allows Link to talk to animals and Gossip Stones.
