- This is the most amazing flashlight I have ever bought. It's so small yet it's so bright! I've bought two of the white Photon II and two of the blue Photon II so far and I plan on getting another white one soon. If you are planning on getting one of these for fun, you can try the blue Photon II out. However, if you want to use the light for more practical purposes, I would highly recommend the white Photon II. It's the best for all around use and its narrow angle beam projects farther than the other colors. Since the photon micro-light uses lithium batteries, it is not affected by the cold. Regular flashlights don't work in extreme cold temperatures.
