Extended Control Black

Duress and Unmask form the heart of the deck, since most extended decks require certian cards to get going (i.e. Replenish for PandeBurst) and these two cards can get rid of them easily.  Next, the Stupors and Sphere of Resistance make it hard for an opponent to cast critical spells.  The Disk and Masticore can handle most threats that do make it into the board.  Since the deck is slightly weak against Sligh, maindeck Bottle Gnomes are used, since almost all decks win with some sort of damage anyway.  Since Demonic Consultation is no longer viable, Desperate Research tries to fill in the gap. It's not as strong, but the only real way to grab key spells that the deck needs to survive.
