Fire in the Hole

The Veteran Brawlers the best creature to use. Tap your land just block opposing creatures even if you have to take some mana burn. The Chimeric Idol and Rishaden Port help the Brawlers get past to attack or block. Skizzik, the new Ball Lightning, is a great direct damage card. Pay the kicker when you can to get the most out of it. The direct damage is the key to victory. Urza's Rage is good against counter decks but you will rarely be able to pay the kicker as they will be dead by then.
