NFFL Rules
I'll just start off with a couple of things.
Yes, this game is totally free. It's just something to do on the net for fun.
First off think of a team name. This must contain an actual city. The city can be anywhere in the world. Then think of the mascot for example the Salt Lake City Shooters. Shooters is the mascot name. Now the Important part. This game is totally based upon a mathmatical formula I made. It combines 7 attributes. Your job is to place points I will give you into the attributes. You get 35 points to put in any of the attributes you like. That's it! The attributes are:
Blocking, Pass-Offense, Run-Offense, Pass-Defense, Run-Defense, Strength, and Aggresiveness,
**EXPLANATION OF ATTRIBUTES**
Blocking: Helps in all offense.
Pass-Offense: Helps the passing offense.
Run-Offense: Helps the run-offense.
Run-Defense: Helps to defense the running game.
Pass-Defense: Helps to defense the passing game.
Strength: Helps in virtually all aspects of the game.
Aggresiveness: Helps to cause turnovers on defense.
**OFFSEASON POINTS**
Offseason points are give after the season is over. You will recieve 3 points after the season is done. You put the 3 points into any of the attributes that you wish. This is very important in the game. If you don't add them up during the offseason, your team will be kicked out of the league. Just E-Mail me the attributes and how many points to put into each.
*Confrences and Divisions*
There will be 16 teams, and according to the city, I will split them into confrences and divisions. The Confrences will consist of 8 teams in 2 divisions. The confrences will be called: NFFL North Confrence, and NFFL South Confrence. There will be East and West divisions in each confrence. (A little confusing.)
For example if my team was in Seattle we would be in the North Confrence and the West division. If my team was in Atlanta we would be in the South Confrence and East division. There will be 4 teams in every division.
*Seasons*
The first season will be about 5 weeks long. Each team will play 10 games. They will play everyone in their division twice (once at home and once away), and they will play the four other teams in the confrence at some time during the season. All teams will have 5 home games. The play-offs will begin at the end of the season, and should take about 1 1/2 weeks. The top 2 teams from each division will make the play-offs. More details on the play-offs will come, when they start.
*Home Field Advantage*
Each game has a certain amount of luck involved. When your team plays at home they get a little more of an advantage, so some upsets can happen when your team plays at home.
*When Games come out*
The results of each game will come out on Tuesday and Friday. So each team will play 2 games a week, which keeps the game a little more exciting. The schedule will come out at the beginning of the season, so you know who you will be playing each week.
RULES
1. You are only allowed to manage/coach 1 team.
2. You must update your team each offseason period, or your team will be retired.
3. You will not argue about the results of the games.
4. Please! Do not use a city that has already been taken. Look at the Coaches page to see the teams.
